Follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited that tears Claire's heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.
I showed the trailer to my gf some days ago...I think she almost got an orgasm I had no idea that she love the book - I just thought it looks like something she might enjoy lol
shitloads of new stuff in my pc. Cant keep track of it all.
@Ankh
I guess the series will be popular among women going back in time to sweaty, muscular hot knights, romance and shit, you name it. I'm just speculating obviously lol I haven't read the books.
@KaSssss how is the quality? worth downloading?
PS nevermind..I downloaded it anyways.. it is pretty watchable quality wise
No idea. I haven't watched it yet. They say it starts off slow though.
PS OK, now that I have watched it, I'd say I quite liked the pilot. However, I sure hope they show us some large cities of that period and whatnot.I wouldn't want it to be like Camelot budget wise.
I'm watching the second episode right now and I'm afraid I'll have to wait for subtitles coz I'm having problems understanding what some characters are saying lol mostly that fat woman it's not like I don't get anything she says just small bits, here and there but it's annoying.

Lol it's all in English isn't it? Or are you having trouble with the Scottish accent?
I could also hardly understand what most Scottish actors were saying in "Under the Skin" (2013)
I mean, Scarlett Johansson opened her mouth and everything was clear but when the blokes she fucked started saying something I was like "wtf did u just say?"

Thankfully 720p release had english subtitles lol
Good episode. A bit slow but pretty entertaining. I had no problem understanding Mrs Fitz. In some parts they were speaking Gaelic so I doubt you would even get subtitles for that.
I like the flashbacks which were basically scenes from the first episode.
I wasnt surprised when I heard the music for the first time. It had a distinct 'Black Sails' vibe to it. Black Sails is also a Starz Original production. The bagpipes are great though.
I like the setting, I like many of the characters and I like the nusic, but the story is sooooo boring. I really don't care for the woman and I don't like her narratting like the watchers are morons.
