Quote:
Follows the story of Claire Randall, a married combat nurse from 1945 who is mysteriously swept back in time to 1743, where she is immediately thrown into an unknown world where her life is threatened. When she is forced to marry Jamie Fraser, a chivalrous and romantic young Scottish warrior, a passionate relationship is ignited that tears Claire's heart between two vastly different men in two irreconcilable lives.

No idea. I haven't watched it yet. They say it starts off slow though.

PS OK, now that I have watched it, I'd say I quite liked the pilot. However, I sure hope they show us some large cities of that period and whatnot.I wouldn't want it to be like Camelot budget wise.

Yeah. Based on the pilot this could be alright. Production value looks decent anyway.

Yeah Very Happy

I could also hardly understand what most Scottish actors were saying in "Under the Skin" (2013)

I mean, Scarlett Johansson opened her mouth and everything was clear but when the blokes she fucked started saying something I was like "wtf did u just say?" Very Happy

Thankfully 720p release had english subtitles lol

Good episode. A bit slow but pretty entertaining. I had no problem understanding Mrs Fitz. In some parts they were speaking Gaelic so I doubt you would even get subtitles for that.

I like the flashbacks which were basically scenes from the first episode.

Bear McCreary is doing the soundtrack, so it gets extra points right away. It's not surprising, considering RDM.

I wasnt surprised when I heard the music for the first time. It had a distinct 'Black Sails' vibe to it. Black Sails is also a Starz Original production. The bagpipes are great though.

The first ep was fun, but there's absolutely no subtlety in the romance department.
Will keep watching.

Ep 3 was great. Easily my favourite series at this moment. Now that Utopia and Rectify have concluded their second season.

I like the setting, I like many of the characters and I like the nusic, but the story is sooooo boring. I really don't care for the woman and I don't like her narratting like the watchers are morons.

Average show untill now IMO.
