For now I played this for maybe 1 hour but im wondering, lets say I have team of four, do I have always have to control them all in combat or there is a way fo make them do stuff by themselves and me controlling only my "main" character ?

look for small and large preasure plates, 1 kg on small, 2, 5, 7.5, you don't have to put vases, you will found out one barrel and one bucket with water, barrel goes on down left plate, bucket up right plate , 2 books on up left plate, can't remember last one, you will figure it out . Someone did bring some good weed in larian studios.

leave the mines for last, main quest can be broken, then you will find out how to destroy knights.

Ok thanks, but i did do everything other than passing the knights. I guess that's ok. I sort of suspected the game to be able to have the quests broken seeing as you can approach certain parts of quests way before doing previous parts.

I managed to kill frederick during the spider fight. I charged a spider and he got hit and died. Well, he did enter the fight with like 10% hp. Did he say or do anything important? I only know he was the culprit with the bomb demon thingie in the whorehouse.

This game is so gratifying when you clear a really hard fight playing on hard. Looking at all the innocent NPCs that you got some extra experience from.
Also playing with both main characters using Lone Wolf, which makes for some tense control of agro and locking opponents down in Freeze, Knockdown or Blind.
I might be wrong but do vendors respawn on level up, or is there some other trigger?
Conrad had a really sick weapon that ended up disappearing when I went to get it a little while later.

Playing on hard, and so far it was still pretty easy.
Then i arrived here:
Spoiler: | The fight against Evelyn. My chars were level 8. But i got so many deaths in that fight
The problem was most of those fire resistant minions that got healed by firedamage and did like 120 fire damage per hit. And my main damage comes from my mage with the firespells
And enemies used so many aoe spells.
But finally it felt like hard difficulty and the win felt great too
I guess the next zone will be like that fight too = more magic use from enemies |

Besides your own statisfaction, does playing on hard gives you anything in-game?

So, what's the situation with bugs right now? Is it totally playable or should wait for patches?
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

I`d say totally playable, at least for me (+15h). They already fixed some small annoyances.

some tips? |
The most important thing to remember is that this game doesn't actually have restricted classes. The "class" is just a first setup which you can change during leveling. Get some scoundrel skills if you like like Ramalan said.

Yep, game doesnt restrict you much in that area. Obviously its still better to focus on a skills that compliment your other abilities and stats, like dexterity - scoundrel/ranger, intelligence - anything magic related etc.
Also note that new talents are avaliable when you level your ability (like man-at-war) to high level. Game is great for theorycrafting and synergies, for example - mage uses oil which causes slow effect, warrior has talent which buffs dmg on slowed enemies, or rouge class characters can cause bleeding and theres talent which heals you when you stand in pools of blood (normal hits also create blood spills so I guess it should work with them). From what I have seen the ground + fire mage seems to be better than ice+air+lighting one, at least in terms of pure dmg at the early game, tho you will need both because some enemies are immune to some elements. Teleport looks like one of the best spells early on - you are fighting melee with 2 mobs, 3rd one is shooting at you from the distance, you teleport him right into those 2 causing all 3 take damage (and possible knockdown afair) + use sweeping melee atack with warrior/fighter class = pure destruction. Or you could align them with teleport and use ram attack which has insane 15m range.
Another tip is to hold on your ability points because leveling to +2-3 and above requires more than one so sometimes its not worth to spend that 1 point right after you level up (also theres a talent giving you +2 free points one time).

btw, at the market you can buy few maps pointing you to secret chests around that 1st location. Anyone managed to get all of them? One in particular is placed in terrain which is blocked by rocks and surrounded from all sides, wtf, how can you get there? |
Spoiler: | You can teleport a person over the rocks if you mean the spot left of the church. |

Or you could just use the Spoiler: | small trapdoor in the church | . It may be a secret though, I have a high perception ranged char.
Spoiler: | It's in the left alcove, near the southmost wall |

it might be, my perception didnt show anything there.
another question - does burning down your enemies can cause the situation when you are unable to loot their corpse and items are destroyed? for example, when i fire already dying enemy he gets turned in to pile of ash which is impossible to click/loot, while with melee attacks there is usual corpse which can be clicked. Also sometimes loot gets thrown at the ground. Is that dependent on the form of final attack at all?

You don't loot bodies, everything falls out of a dead enemy.

Meh, I completely steamrolled Evelyn despite looking forward to that fight so much :C
I'm currently lvl 8, and the game is only somewhat challenging when I fight enemies 1-2 lvls higher than me, and that is playing on hard.

You're confusing hand placed bodies with combat bodies. The latter are not lootablee
