Yeah, I know. You don't really need the "nightly" build either - the 31.0 Beta already has the partial support in, but still lacks MSE with H.264, so it might as well not be there at all because the feature set remains the same as with the non-beta version as far as YouTube is concerned.

I thought there was something wrong when I watched these 60fps videos, everything looked the same to me...and wondered myself in disbelief, what if I've become like KC
But nope, thankfully it's just the Fox. *sigh of relief*

It would be... amazing!

This thread motivated me to give Chrome another try (when I tried it shortly after release it was missing the ability to auto-open certain file-types without having to manually save first, .pls files for example) however I've hit a brick wall in trying to get my extensions set up.
Adblock - check, no problems there.
Noscript - ScriptSafe is the Noscript equivalent on Chrome, right?
However, try as I might I can't find a worthy equivalent to Fire Gestures. All of the options I found were either loaded with blatant Adware (Smooth Gestures), kinda broken (Gestures), or loaded with Tracking/Selling Browsing Info (CrxMouse).
Are there any that I'm missing that are actually decent?
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Perhaps the games run at 30 FPS and are rendered in 60 during movie playback thus "smooth" (motion blur?) no idea really but that's a guess.
EDIT: Though maybe game framerate is irrelevant to movie playback framerate.
(Stuttering would likely be noticeable though.)

It's always like that with videos. There is a certain amount of "blurring"/interleaving between frames which smooths out the transitions, and frametimes in general are consistent because they are recorded and not being rendered in real-time. In games frametimes are often highly irregular.
Those things combined in some cases can make a 60FPS video appear better than 120FPS in-game, or at least on the same level. This is going to skew the possible 30FPS vs 60FPS comparison videos, but it kinda evens out because 30FPS videos also look smoother.
