Spoiler: | something like that. Or maybe not. |
"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

I only opened yours because I kinda sensed that it wasn't a real one
Haven't read books or anything and probably never will, true lazy bastard I am |

I get that. The books are massive. Spent months and months reading the first book I'm a slow reader though!

The audio books can be a very good alternative for those books that are really massive.
Because
Spoiler: |
After the First season that was in par with the first book in content and quality, the series are going gradually cheaper and many content have been cut. Probably to cash from the successes of the series.
Cut the cost when your sales are guaranteed to have more profit. Good, tested and often used method.

Sansa will stay boring, Arya is the one with potential and the most interesting story.

In the books she's built up to something awesome (I hope so at least), hence the potential part.

The budget for this show is insane compared to most TV shows. And since when has HBO ever been in the market of cutting costs for profit? Sure you arent talking about AMC? No reason to spoiler what you said, too.
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

yep, if anything, the first season had the lowest budget, when you take a look at some of the most expensive episodes later on, for example blackwater bay which cost much more than half of s01s total budget.

Content is cut because the later books have more useless content for TV.

Can you give us please, an example of cut content that is useless for TV?
Because in my view, the content that cut was rather expensive to be solid created, than useless.

What content are you missing? Not everything in a book can be converted to TV because it would be impossible technically or because it wouldn't be useful to the story they are telling. This is an opinion of course, I'm not a producer.
