It seems there is a possibility we will reach the magical 1 million threshold. This is great, but also tricky, because we need to announce a new stretch goal. It should be something special, something that wasn’t planned and something we really want to do.
At the same time, we still should be able to implement it within the limits of our budget that is, honestly, even with the great support from Kickstarter backers, still very tight, because our game is much more expensive than one million pounds.
We thought about it a lot and we all agreed that we would love to have dog in the game as a companion. Best friend who will follow you everywhere, help you in combat, warn you from danger when you sleep or go hunting with you. If we reach this goal, there will be dogs in the game and you will be able to own one. There will also most likely be dog related quests.
In a few hours we are going to do a live stream of Kingdom Come! We will play the same build that we showed to the publishers and will answer your question. Please join us at our Youtube channel at 7PM GMT (UK), 8PM CET (CZ) and 2PM EST or 11AM PST (US).
Awesome! It's pretty much what I expected it to be. An evolution of Gothic in first person, set in a real medieval setting instead of a low fantasy one. I'm ashamed that I can't support them now and also scared that I won't be able to run the game. I hope that both things will change in time, until the game is released.
That demo was glorious, thanks for all the updates guys!
By the way, this is from their recent AMA mentioned by Prudislav, about the combat system:
Quote:
What should we expect from fighting multiple enemies? Will it be possible to defeat relatively vast numbers of them (like 5+) or is it going to be more limited in this respect? And are we going to encounter such scenarios (multiple opponents) at all?
It would be very difficult for five enemies to attack you at the same time, they could hit each other. That being said, we don't want to have a situation like e.g. Assassins' Creed where enemies wait to take their turn to be killed. There will be engagements with multiple enemies, but ideally you will have some allies to have your back.
It looks very good and feels like a next gen console game.
I only hope that it will be ported in PC and the transfer will be of good quality and not rushed.

they already said its made for mainly for PCs and then ported and scaled down(less characters on scene, closer view distance) to PS4/Xbone
also really like this answer from AMA about quests:
Quote:
We want to use emergent gameplay as much as we can, i.e. the world reacting to your actions. However, we are a story based game and the story needs to be told -- among other things -- through dialogue and cinematics. So there will be events on the main storyline that only happen when you enter a particular area or talk to a particular person.
On the other hand though, for side quests or other storylines it may happen that e.g. the questgiver goes home to sleep and you miss him or her in the pub (and hence will not get the quest), or that you do something that upsets the balance of the world and some quest will become unavailable.
So to sum it up, there will be cinematics and scripted events but not that many relative to the total gameplay length. Most of the interaction with NPCs will be using some general purpose animations.
But than why they use a gamepad for controlling, in the last movie and in the inventory are a,x,y,rt (console buttons) for use ?
Isn't it a little odd?
I would logically expected PC type Inventory if it is developed primarily for PC.
Am I wrong?
