Further updates for the development version, if this pace of support continues with the beta it looks like things will work out pretty well for the end product. Smile

(Or give the illusion of missing, instead of shooting full auto and hitting with every bullet which I guess it what would happen with AI at 100% and "super ai" activated.)

EDIT: Oh and I use a few start parameter commands to minimize loading thus the empty menu since I don't load a location at start.

-nosplash -skipintro -mod=@Mod

EDIT: The shooting range challenge was a interesting little test, I failed pretty badly though but it was fun, also tried the editor and looked at some of the new content.


Performance seems improved as well but not by much though I'm unsure how much of a improvement it will be in the more demanding multiplayer mode or the bigger combat showcases or custom content. Smile

shame though most the dev branch stuff is not used on servers, very little last time i looked.. but maybe worth changing now its a beta status for the dev branch.,. hope most go over to it.

Yeah it's mostly for testing or seeing the latest features, main build should follow next week I assume, didn't read the post other than the main differences. Smile
(I guess many mods are also made incompatible now due to the engine changes, only using one - full-screen night vision - currently, killed CBA and others which are most likely broken or otherwise not compatible with beta.)

EDIT: Yeah a hotfix is incoming and the main build follows on Tuesday.

It seems to run much better, for me at least. I can turn it all up to ultra and it stays around 60ish fps.
Havent tried on a server yet, some wasteland servers ate my FPS. but overall even in SP much smoother.

I had the opposite result Bobbly, just tried the MP part.
I didnt think id find any MP servers, but many still show up. Went and hopped on the wasteland i usually play on. I got a lot better fps than before. Before i had to run on high with a few details of it turned down. Now can do ultra and crank it up and its smooth.

That's just the folder where I put custom content. Smile
(I keep most mods together rather than using separate folders for each.)

(NoSplash removes logo videos, NoIntro skips most of the introduction sequence including loading a level preview for the main menu.)

Strange, I get around 20fps on Ultra or Low, doesn't make a difference. I'll have another go later.

The SP runs much better however. Get around 60fps on High/Ultra.
