In modern day Japan, Wolverine is out of his depth in an unknown world as he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.
I remember reading somewhere that they were shooting 2 versions, one for the cinemas and the other one for Blu-ray/VOD, whatever. Let's hope so. Wolverine is a character that needs to swear and dice up people.
I hope it's at least as well made as the previous ones, X-Men: First Class in particular. That movie was so damn awesome. It was unexpected, at least for me. As long as they don't go full derp, more X-Men movies are welcome.
I agree, Wolverine needs to put his claws to good use.
It's funny, the opening cinematic for the Wolverine tie-in game from 2009 is much better than the entirety of X-Men Origins: Wolverine the movie.
How often is a short cinematic featured in a movie based game better than the movie?
Agree. Loved that game.
Good old Raven Software, I miss their games.
I adore Wolverine, he's my favourite X-Men character by far, so more Wolv-stuff is always good - assuming that they won't go full retard with this one..I hope not, since I trust James Mangold
Does the story in the movie has anything to do with the anime counterpart? Havent watched all of Wolverine´s anime, but i remember it took place in Japan aswell and had smth to do with his ability to heal/never die being taken from him.

He wants to be mortal...?
Are you both kidding? It says directly in the trailer that he wants either to die or to be mortal.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube
Nice, I love Wolverine and will definitely see this.
And yup, it was mentioned multiple times in comics, the cartoon and movies (I think) that when he uses his claws they cut through his skin every time, so I suppose this movie will be rated G for everyone?
