Quote:
In modern day Japan, Wolverine is out of his depth in an unknown world as he faces his ultimate nemesis in a life-or-death battle that will leave him forever changed. Vulnerable for the first time and pushed to his physical and emotional limits, he confronts not only lethal samurai steel but also his inner struggle against his own immortality, emerging more powerful than we have ever seen him before.

It's not going to be R, but hopefully they'll push the boundaries of what can be shown in a PG-13 movie.

It already looks better than the last one.

I remember reading somewhere that they were shooting 2 versions, one for the cinemas and the other one for Blu-ray/VOD, whatever. Let's hope so. Wolverine is a character that needs to swear and dice up people. Very Happy

I agree, Wolverine needs to put his claws to good use.

It's funny, the opening cinematic for the Wolverine tie-in game from 2009 is much better than the entirety of X-Men Origins: Wolverine the movie.

How often is a short cinematic featured in a movie based game better than the movie? Laughing

Teaser for the teaser trailer - http://www.superherohype.com/news/articles/175743-director-posts-teaser-for-the-wolverine-trailer

Looks better than the last movie. Silver Samurai's armor looks very silver-y. Very Happy

I hope it's at least as well made as the previous ones, X-Men: First Class in particular. That movie was so damn awesome. It was unexpected, at least for me. As long as they don't go full derp, more X-Men movies are welcome.

Good old Raven Software, I miss their games. Razz

I adore Wolverine, he's my favourite X-Men character by far, so more Wolv-stuff is always good - assuming that they won't go full retard with this one..I hope not, since I trust James Mangold Very Happy

LOL at the marketing for this film. Yesterday they released a 6 seconds teaser for the full length teaser that is due with G.I. JOE 2 I believe.

Today they released a 20 seconds teaser, for the teaser that is yet to be released.

Here -

It's like getting an ad for an ad. Laughing

baaah, he won't stay mortal. They'd better put that temporary vulnerabilty into good use in terms of plot.

Thing is, take away his healing factor, and the adamantium in his body will kill him.

The only reason he survived was due to his excellent healing factor that is constantly repairing the damage done to his body by the adamantium.

Take that away and he should be crippled...no?

Bah, trying to make sense of a movie about a Canadian mutant with metal claws is pointless. Laughing

He needed his ability while adamantium was injected. What would he need to heal now when his skeleton is already adamantium?

the healing factor was needed in the first place to insert the metal.
he don't need it now. he'll just bleed to death whenever he uses his forks.

Does the story in the movie has anything to do with the anime counterpart? Havent watched all of Wolverine´s anime, but i remember it took place in Japan aswell and had smth to do with his ability to heal/never die being taken from him.

Are you both kidding? It says directly in the trailer that he wants either to die or to be mortal.

Nice, I love Wolverine and will definitely see this. Smile

And yup, it was mentioned multiple times in comics, the cartoon and movies (I think) that when he uses his claws they cut through his skin every time, so I suppose this movie will be rated G for everyone? Cool Face
