Utterly agree. I get the feeling that some story developer was shoved aside and told 'No story. Too much time. Need sales. Use Generic Story #11 and sell sell sell!

Nope. Just skip him by opening the console (~) and typing "map endgame".

proper 3d explotion, will be amazing but for now(in the crysis3) it was nice to look at and as you said:"at least we're starting to move away from flat painted sky boxes, it's something.)"

Pretty sure DR means the lens flares, which BF3 wasn't the first to use nor is it the one that uses it the most.

In the case of Crysis it makes at least a little sense because the player looks through the suit's visor.
In BF, not at all.
TWIN PEAKS is "something of a miracle."
"...like nothing else on television."
"a phenomenon."
"A tangled tale of sex, violence, power, junk food..."
"Like Nothing On Earth"

The first Crysis was not that open. After the tank level (which was mission 5 out of 11), it was mostly a linear game.

However in Warhead, I remember a level where you have to infiltrate a submarine. There are roads that lead to the base where you can wreak havoc, but you could also just take a long swim and get to the docks - it was a huge open map.

Do the saves stay intact once the new crackfix is copied over?
