Is the COOP matchmaking peer to peer or does it use some kind of EA online only service?
I'm curious if I can go through the COOP experience with my brother.

It´s not a bug and it´s not the crack, Dead Space games have always been like that regarding vsync. You need to disabled in-game vsync and force vsync via driver control panel.

Yep, that indeed was the case with DS2.

gotta love those ports!

DS2 and DS1 as well.

What the hell, played like 30 mins, and my inventory was full of medkits and ammo...Very Happy Other than that its a good game. Graphics are also better than on DS2, lots of options to customize. Loving it so far (expect the unlimited medkit shit Very Happy).

glad to hear the majority of people are liking it really, I knew I would regardless. From what others have posted on the guru3d forums, there are plenty of graphics options to play around with. Dx11 or not, just happy to hear people are liking the game thus far.

makes me a happy boy.

Playing it on normal, recently played through DS2 on normal aswell... And i was all the time short on ammo or medkits, unless you made them yourself.

Yeah I heard that from the console section, one of the reasons I started at a higher difficulty level. Smile
(Still there's more than enough ammo available, not that good at managing health kits though.)

Playing on hard and my inventory is filled all the time, I remember DS2 being much harder. I also miss the ridiculous death animations from DS2, now the screen just instantly fades when you die. But the game is actually pretty good otherwise, it still feels like a Dead Space-game even if it's easier and somewhat censored.

Basically there is almost always someone contacting you via radio...unless you are in a side mission. So in that sense you are not alone.

But ya ,it feels like dead space during the first half...get ready for some pew pew cover shooting action from chapter 10 onwards. Wink

You can do side missions alone?

I heard there are some missions only avaliable while playing in co-op?

There's definitely no shortage of fps, that's for sure.
With all gfx settings maxed and at 1680 res (AA type set to SMAA) I'm getting mid 100 easy but that's likely due to the tiny level sizes.

As for the coop portion working for cracked version, nope it doesn't. When you try going to the coop campaign it just gives an error about not being connected to EA online services Sad

I guess it's a matter of hours now...

It usually comes right after the ALI and 3DM flood...

Seems to be some alternate method, no longer uses that .par file (Verification with Origin?) and instead there's only the game exe but it's a bit larger.

I can't believe these p2p groups can crack faster then the scene does these days. That just shows that the fight against piracy is winning.

You gotta take into account that all these groups are consisted of people. The Scene doesn't have some kind of magicians who are all powerful and mighty, and above everybody else. Laughing

No, they don't wait for launch dates to come and pass. There's only one game that I recall right now that came out before its premiere - AC: Revelations. But I believe there are more examples of such releases.

It varies, these days with online activation and date checks it doesn't really matter if you have a contact or other source for getting the content early, digital distribution is increasing as well.

Can't really do much if the exe is missing or encrypted, that offline method for activating the game early was surprising though but EA will likely have fixed or altered it for the next Origin update or game release.

There will probably be a scene release of this game as well since there's currently nothing available there.
(They don't really seem to count these anonymous releases even if they're fully functional and completely proper otherwise.)

I'm on chapter 4, there's this mini-game I have to do in order to advance, but it doesn't seem to be working.

It seems fairly simple but I can't complete it.

"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.

Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty
