I think I'll wait for the DLC, it has better architecture and a highly useful (bread) pizza oven. Very Happy

Then modders can strip the DLC down and improve it, letting you build wherever for example or using different architecture maybe.

... And instead of adopting a kid you can have the choice of making your own. Razz

that's somewhat good news that the DLC looks like some bullshit stuff , because Micro$hit only had exclusivity deal on the first 2 DLC's which means that the next "proper" DLC will be released simultaneously

Dawnguard is boring, at least for me. They are just milking the cow, there is nothing more this game can give. They should better concentrate on the next installment.

There's countless things they could do - the bigger the better, of course. If they would do something on the scale of Shivering Isles, you could easily add (parts of) other provinces in Tamriel into the game.

Sure, I agree that if they add a huge new area it would be good but they won't do it, cause then it won't be Skyrim. They could add countless new places that Tamriel has but I don't think that is the way they are heading. They just gonna do small DLCs to make some money, and I'm pretty sure they are already working on the next game, which I hope would be in Elsweyr or somewhere in the south.

I don't think we will see other provinces unless it will have "The Elder Scrolls VI" next to it's name.

Not a full province of course, but they could always do an island (like in Bloodmoon) or a city (like in Tribunal).

They should introduce a special magical device that procedurally creates a multi-level dungeon according to rules you can set (by inserting soul gems and other artifacts)

Or make a flying magical ship and do quests on floating magical islands Smile
And do aerial battles vs dragons using balistae and ranged attacks.

I'm surprised they still haven't made a dragon mount you can fly. I thought that would have been the first thing they put in the very first DLC.

Those are included in the hunter/warrior theme Wink

He also made good use of iron, steel, leather and animal hides which become kind of useless after the first chunk of leveling. I found myself mining and hunting again which was nice. I put in a farm, farm animals, fishery, meadery, combat dummies, tannery, blacksmith, waterfall scaffolding, alchemy lab...and that was just the outside. Themed decor, shrines and secret lairs can be added inside as well. It's a worthy filler while waiting for more releases. Looks like I'll be building two homes now Very Happy

Are there already complete retexture mods for Dawnguard? Bethesda didn't release a HD texture pack for Dawnguard right?

The question is what's wrong with the latest Elder Scrolls titles.
It's the same with Oblivion.

My experience with Oblivion was like:
-time spent modding the game: >10 hours
-time spent to actually play the game: 2 hours Laughing

Laughing DS3 Laughing
But I don't know what's worse, the DS3 ability to put to use it's supercomput0r cell processor or bethesda's programming skills... Razz

Oh and
Quote:
When Bethesda had save-game problems with Skyrim on PS3, a Fallout: New Vegas developer came out of the woodwork with a convincing explanation of what was going on. The engine he used for Fallout: New Vegas evolved for Skyrim, but had similar problems with PS3. The developer, Josh Sawyer, also forewarned that the engine problem would be exacerbated by DLC.
Sawyer's argument, however, was shot down by Bethesda head of PR, Pete Hines. "No, it isn't true," Hines tweeted at the time. "He brings up issues we solved long ago."
This recent development doesn't necessarily mean Hines was telling fibs, but this whole situation will certainly need a lot more explaining.

Seeing as they only have problems with the PS3 i'm inclined to believe the PS3 is just hard to work with (known for a long time). Especially for these titles.
