No bugs encountered so far, and I really enjoy this game as of now. It's basically an upgraded Prototype, and I loved the first one. |
I have the same setup except I have a Q6600 @ 3 GHz and the game runs terribly. Way worse than the first one. Guessing there must be some trouble with drivers or what not |
Your cpu is ancient, that's bottlenecking it

Even ancient CPU's like yours and mine (Q8300@3.33GHz) should be able to handle this POS port without even breaking a sweat and especially at relatively low resolutions like in my case.
The PC version of Just Cause 2 showed how it's done, but apparently actishit won't get a clue (shocking! ).
Also, did people forget that the original was also an incredibly shit port back then?!

Ok, on a gtx 680 it's weird.
Clocks often drop to like 600 instead of the normal 1170, gpu usage in the 30%'s. Overall 50-60 fps mostly.
Clearly it's not using the gpu as it should but yeah, bad optimization.
Xbawks 360 controller tho so no complaints about the controls...
Graphically, one thing i like : real time reflections in the puddles during rain. I'm impressed by that tbh. The rest not so much.
Gameplay wise seems fun so far.

Any low sound issues, which the first game suffered from?

How would the radnet menu be of any use in a cracked game? It's just a bunch of irrelevant online features.
Good game, almost everything is improved compared to the first one. Runs without any problems on a E8500 + HD5850.

No problems here so far, playing with the 360 pad though
Only played for a little, but I remember the jump mechanic being a lot more...fluid? Feels so weird in this.
Crappy textures aside, I'm only now realising just how good the Batman games really are. I enjoyed Prototype for what it was, but just the combat system alone is just so much better in Batman. Much more connected. Same goes for the movement, whatever you do in Prototype 2, everything is just another move in a combo; the animations don't flow into each other, the moves don't really connect. Spoiled by Rocksteady I guess
I'll play it a bit more, just because I found Prototype 1 amusing, but it feels like the first one; going to get repetitive very quickly again I think.

Well that's the thing...
On the controller you tap B to grab someone, and you press B to have the menu pop up to consume someone.... before you grab em...
YET THEIR DIRECTIONS CLEARLY SAY TAP B THEN PRESS Y TO STEALTH CONSUME .... MY FUCKING ASS...

Those files you listed can be found from one of their other game cracks I take it? Or was it something unique or from a specific game by chance?
