Full SKIDROW release, same problem. Sad Keybindings are probably stored in "Documents\Inversion Saves\user.dat". Can you please upload that file with minizoom bound to RMB?

sorry my bad got that info from my friend and he unbelievably seems to have it legal - so i will try to get that file asap - maybe with patchfiles

Black bars are the fucking BANE of gaming, they irritate me beyond measure. The game is natively letterboxed (cinematic!!1111 fapfapfap) which is then added onto the 16:10 AR letterboxing.

Joy.

~edit~

Actually, I think it's more like 45% of the screen is taken up with black space.

Dragon's dogma? Monitor? 16:10? 1680x1050?

I'm confuzzled... thought it was only on consoles?

But he has his PS3 or X360 (Wasn't Dragon Dogma PS3 exclusive?) hooked up to a normal monitor via HDMI I guess. Smile
(Then again don't those machines only do 480, 720 and 1080 resolutions? - unless otherwise specified of course.)

Yeah even the skidrow release can't remap the mouse keys.

It seems they released a new patch which fixes the problem but the patch is nowhere to be found.

1 and 2 are still amazing.

I can remap the mouse buttons but there was no patch download when I installed the game (Steam) so it must have already been there or it's something else.
(The RU version released earlier had a update but I guess it's integrated since that file is nowhere to be found in this release.)

EDIT: That said a user on the Steam forums also mentioned some patch download.

EDIT: Inversion.exe file version 5.48.0.0

http://www28.zippyshare.com/v/43505542/file.html
(Unsure if it's everything that could have been altered since it's just the bin folder but it might be, not much else that could have been patched without making the update very large.)

Well it's using the new file format so that means it could have updated the base file for the game which is 1.6 GB (out.s3darc) along with whatever else so there's not much I can do about that then if it's like that.
(I'd have to upload the entire game basically and that wouldn't really be much of a patch if so, ha ha.)

RU version used out_patch.s3darc but it doesn't exist in this release so it probably updated the base files instead.

Well that's also something to try, never done that before but here's what it created.

I just validated the skidrow release with manifest files that JBeckman gave me and here's the result:

 Spoiler:

I suspect they've stolen the 3DM crack since it's the only cracked exe from steam version and made a custom installer for the russian release to make it look like a steam-rip.
their release don't have a legit exe, steam stub is already removed from their legit exe , so obviously they didn't have access to steam version. Laughing

If I did the generation correctly that would mean the entire thing is bad minus the d3d support file since I deleted that as I have the latest DirectX redist installed already, there isn't much I can do but upload the entire folder if I were to try and correct that.

Can't post it here though if that's the case but that's how it probably has to be.
(But even the shaders, shared sounds and music didn't match, how interesting yet weird.)

EDIT: 5.3 GB, this will take a while but at least I'm on a fiber connection now instead of ADSL, ha ha.

Wow thank you very much for doing this.

Skidrow legit exe actually is the 3DM crack, they both have the same hash but 3DM was in a hurry and didn't clean the exe and Skidrow cleaned 3DM's exe and released it as their own crack! Laughing

Well it's pretty much automated since Zippyshare can queue files, limit of 200 MB means it had to be split in 24 190MB sized parts (File 24 at about 120 MB) but it's mostly just waiting for it to upload and hope nothing happens in the meantime. Very Happy

EDIT: Que is queue, seems you learn new stuff every day with this spellchecker that Firefox is using, grammar and such is probably still shit though. Laughing

EDIT: And it's done, that wasn't too bad.

What the fuck is going on with games lately!? Every single game that came out in the past few months has huge fucking black bars on anything other than 16:9. Those bars annoy me and piss me off so much, I've skipped every single game that has it. I just simply cannot play and enjoy when fucking 25% of my screen is huge goddamn black bars.

Even on 16:9 it has unsightly black bars, not just because of cinematic style.. but also because the game itself is only rendered at 1280x608 and is then UPSCALED to the 1280x720 framebuffer >_< So you've got deliberate black space in the original game, which is significantly compounded when you run it in 16:10 resolutions. I've got my 360 running through PC monitor and outputting at 1680x1050... yippee! 1280x608, upscaled to 1280x720, upscaled to 1680x1050.

Delicious!

~edit~

I found an example! Please excuse the tiny size, it was the only one I could find with the 16:9/16:10 mega borders example;

Doing a bit of checking around, it seems playing the game at non-16:9 resolutions results in the the same letterboxing that is applied to 4:3 So that ^^ is a 4:3 image and it's exactly the same amount of letterboxing as on a 16:10 monitor. Glorious devs are glorious! grinhurt

Correction: It's unbelievable that we started having this kind of problems. In the past not a single game was like this, with the exception of some having black bars in cinematics (which I don't mind, but I don't support either).

Aye, for PC it was always full screen. This nonsense started with consoles and home computers, originally due to the resolution differences in PAL/NTSC. NTSC TVs having less vertical lines than PAL, so games converted to PAL ended up with ungodly huge black borders. Even back THEN they could have fixed this, simply by having games rendered at the region-native resolution, but nowadays? It's just bullshit Mad
