Not to mention the "promised" fixes for the blinding bloom and fov that obviously will never see the light of day. I even waited for a week or so, then had to shit-deleted it...very satisfying though

@Extraordinary: they clearly don't give a damn about PC users, I don't think we'll ever see a fix. Do like me bud, shift-delete it with no remorse

Boss battles are terrible. Rest of the game is mediocre.

No, we aren't and yes, the game is absolutely terrible. You know what's the problem in gaming these days? People underreact. That's why we keep getting these idiotic looking/working games. |
Let me translate that for you KC, because what DR means to say is that people like you who swallow all these pieces of shit are what's killing gaming for the most part
No, consoles are NOT as good as PC's when it comes to shooters, a gamepad is not a good control mechanism for that genre. No, console graphics do not look good - they did 7 years ago, but there's not a single game I've played on my PS3 that comes even remotely close to looking good*. Maybe you don't see it, but that's probably THE FUCKING BLOOM BLINDING YOU
Wanna see how it can and should be done? Try Tribes: Ascend. Bloom and DERPBLUR are both disabled by default. There is no fucking mouse acceleration, you get perfect response when you move your mouse. The gameplay is not excruciatingly slow because you can't keep up with a gamepad otherwise. It does not run like shit. And mind you, it's still UE3 like every single fucking console game bar the exclusives on each platform (and even some of those are still UE3).
* I'm speaking about technically looking good, not having good art and design.

It's ridiculous, what did they expect?? They're resurrecting an old, fan-favourite, IP and marketing it to people who don't know what the fuck the IP is! If it had been named anything else, it might have actually been pretty good, but it wasn't - it was named and based on Syndicate so the only people the name would appeal to rebelled against the genre and the people who like the genre don't know what the hell Syndicate is in the first place.
If they wanted to resurrect Syndicate, they should have done so properly. Syndicate Wars with today's technology? Holy shit, I'd buy that.

Maybe even derps are getting tired of bland, linear generic first person shooters these days..well unless they're called Halo or Call of Duty

""Syndicate was something that we took a risk on"
they didn't take a risk at all.It had nothing new or innovative, just things that did (sell) well in the past and Bloom set to 200%.I would like to hit the guy with a smelly fish in the face for making me angry over Syndicate again

Weird way of taking a risk. Take a well known IP, make it a shooter. If that is taking a risk, studios like Larian and CDPR must be fully mental.

Oh Ea likes to take risks and experiment with old IPs?
How about they experiment with some of this? *karate chops the air*
Or take a risk with that? *punches the air*
cmon EA
I hate em after ME3 disaster+all the multiplayer server closures+ -no support no patches for syndicate

This game is not as bad as everybody makes it out to be. Its a pretty entertaining linear shooter. It runs great and the gameplay doesn't requirement that much practice. The story is balls but the visuals are good enough to make you keep wondering what the next mission will look like. And the bloom isnt THAT bad, you can get used to it
I would definitely stay away from melee attacks though. Just assign it to a random button which you will never use and treat this game as if it doesn't contain melee.
This is from a person who never played any Syndicate game though so keep that in mind. If you played other syndicate games, then this game will probably piss you off as Ive seen. But if you never played the series, give it a try its actually a decent shooter lol I enjoyed it
