I don't have ze money at the moment, but -hypotetically speaking- once I configure Tor correctly, do I need to log-in with my real EA account before the purchase right? 
Also, about the billing address, I gather it should be the same as always, only with India instead of my real country, correct?

Yes, same here. My friend bought it for himself and when he tried to buy it with same CC on my account it always says Payment Authorization Failed...

i never used tor for my india proxy.heres how i did mine.
logged into ea.com & changed my profile country to india (not sure if needed but did it anyway).
goto firefox options,advanced,network tab, settings.(connection window pops up)
click manual proxy configuration,& in HTTP proxy box enter your indian ip & port number.
tick box to "use this proxy server for all protocols" (not sure if needed,did it anyway).
used this link for indian origin store.
http://store.origin.com/store/easa/en_IN/cat/battlefield/categoryID.12438300
add premium to cart,goto checkout & use normal cc card details & address but with india as country. payment should go through first time. check your bf3 stats it should have premium enabled straight away.
indian proxy ip i used was 27.251.56.98 port 3128 (was slow loading internet though)
was my first time using any kind of proxy so thats why i've put not sure if needed for couple things.
