Assuming that it would work there, and that your CC is working, maybe you could stack that discount on top of Indian Origin's 50% discount on some games...

My friend bought it at the same time using the same method and he hasn't got the service inactivated and refunded but I'm guessing it's just a matter of time.
let hope it's because they didn't use anything close to an indian adress.i doubt that a purchase will go trough if you pick 123 Fakestreet as an adress

he probably didn't use the same address that is connected to his CC...
using your real address IS important... the country doesn't matter depending on the CC provider...
anyway, didn't get an email like that... yet... and I've bought it on the first day via indian proxy

The thing is, you don't get a code. You log in to the Indian Origin Store and purchase it from there. So CC is required, no other option to pay.

As I said before, I've bought the game using this method as soon as it came out and never had any issue, it's "english/americas"...
I've noticed that if you buy the game (or in this case the derpremium) and you use an origin store from a country which has no built-in language on the game itself, you can choose the language with your purchase, take as an example the brazilian origin store, there is no portuguese language on BF3, so as soon as you add it to the shopping cart you get a popup asking you to choose the delivery method (digital only ) and the language...
Oh and the last patch restored a bit of the old M4A1 too
I'm still trying to unlock the ACR-W. I've already unlocked the AUG (Assault Class/from the same manufacturer of the ACR-W) and I have to say, it's a beast for medium to long distance killing, including with semi-auto. I was really impressed the first time I tried it.
fuckin game/blog is broken, half of my kill didnt count when i played couple hours. only 1 first map counted & unlocked dogtag is locked atm ffs..

bought it for three different ea accounts. all with the same cc and always used my real address except for the country. No refunds here. did you use your real address or a fake one?
