I always wait at least 3 months to around 2 years before i play RPG's, gives a much better experience, FO:NV was a rather amazing experience fully modded. Gonna wait at least another year before i play Skyrim.

I really want to like this but it just feels clunky like all hell.
Is there a way (besides using fraps) to mesure the fps because I have the feeling it runs worse than it should, even on the lowest settings.

Yeah but you have to wait 3 days for your download to complete anyway

It adds extra leafs and branches as well although this isn't something you usually see but there are a couple of plants placed near enough for you to notice this behavior (Especially leafs appearing out of thin air without any branches to support them.) but still the performance impact on a current mid-range PC would be pretty minimal outside of using transparency based AA or some similar method.
(So the default values are pretty poor which that mod demonstrates quite well with that performance comparison chart.)

Same system as (since?) Gothic I believe, base level times ten with the lowest level creatures being passive / ambient (There's a achievement by killing ten of those.) stuff like turkeys and small monkeys (Or the elastic PhysX rabbits and snakes in Gothic 3) up to I think it was 220 for the Gorilla (It's a bit like a troll basically) and I don't remember if the Guardian (A type of undead, not a boss as such.) was the same or if it was 240 or some such nor do I remember what the leviathan type fish creature was worth or how to call it.
(With the player being forever level 1 since you don't gain anything other than two or so rank / title switches and the increases from spending glory - and gold for some reason, in increments of 1000 normally but some skills go above the 10.000 value up to 15.000 instead I believe it was.)

No! The females are as usual non-existent in the Risen universe. Maybe the only survivors after the first part were men?!

Yeah there was like only one female (chiefs daughter I think.) in the bandit (warrior) encampment but they had that weed farm close by so I guess there was a different type of entertainment to be had.
(And the arena.)
(I don't think the inquisition outpost had any women but I might be wrong.)
EDIT: That also reminds me, what happened to swampweed, there's that one plant that looks like it might be used for that purpose but everyone is drinking grog and rum instead.
(Or "bloody mary" in rare occasions.)
(Yet there's only one single distillery in the game.)

PB might be the supreme misogins. I mean, the men in their games seems to have only two main forms of entertainment: weed and violence. The brothels were present in G2 and Risen 1, but they've played a minor role.
P.S.: i remembered that were some whores in Risen2 at the pirate's hideout, on the first island. Ah, look, again prostitutes...

Just noticed the patch, templates and projects files were updated so some bugfixes were done instead of just updating the exe file though said exe was changed as well, I barely know the file format even with the PAK explorer utilities so I've no idea how to see more detailed info.
(Or rather they had that separate type of patched archive .p00 file added to them.)
EDIT: projects.p00
World\SWC_NPC.sec and .lrent
templates.p00
Items\consume_potion\it_po_perm_cunning.tple
Items\armor_story\it_hat_stahlbart.tple
Items\armor_head\it_tricorn_steelbeard.tple
(Plus what they might have done with the exe file.)
EDIT: SWC I think is "sword coast"
