"25 jobs cut at Starbreeze following Syndicate completion
Swedish developer Starbreeze is cutting 25 jobs following the completion of Syndicate for publisher Electronic Arts.
Board member Peter Tornquist will resign from Starbreeze's board with no replacement planned.
"It is sad that we are forced to make staff cutbacks affecting employees. But we have to reduce staff after the final delivery of the Syndicate," offered Mikael Nermark, CEO of Starbreeze.
The Syndicate remake is released next week and has been in development for a number of years under the codename Project RedLime. "

have pre-ordered it last month...this morning the download was available here, anyway, I will need at least 3-4 days to finish the whole thing (10 Gb is...welll...much), so I'm not in hurry before next Tuesday.
OK. let me get a little rundown here. My impressions from 360 version.
IT IS FUCKING AWESOME!
It is Starbreeze and my favourite starbreeze engine. I confirm that. Graphics are beutifull and very detailed. it looks like that Samarithan epic demo from last year! How the fuck does some developers barely do 30fps on that shitty console with bad graphics and some do stuff like this. Animations are great and sounds too.
The game is set in future cyberpunk world in which you are some kind of superagent with augmented reality view. It is super cool. There are numbers and signs everywhere. You can do some crazy stuff with environments etc. i won't spoil it. its fun and it is something different.
I didnt played much of it yet(only 1h preview) but it is darn awesome playing and looking. Defienietly Chronicles of Riddick quality (or at least Dark Athena) But I havent finished it yet so.
So far, I like the feel of it. It is way overbloomed when there are lights around, but together with high contrast it fits the game.

Just a question but how do cracked Origin games work alongside legit Origin games. Ie, I have BF3, will EA know what's hiding in my Origin folder if I was to put this in there?
Played it for some time now, gfx are okish (textures arent the best and the bloom is a but much), atmosphere is pretty good. I really wouldnt call this Syndicate... Maybe CorpWars.
