My brain feels like jelly right now....

I always wanted to know how long I can stay up without any sleep. I'm at the 26 hour mark right now (I know, that's nothing for the average pc gamer Very Happy) and had 2 meals the whole time.

So, I'm thinking about making this more interesting.

How about just drinking coffee or some coke, without eating anything until I really, reaaaallyy, reeeeeaaalllyyy have to sleep ? Very Happy //edit: alright, screw that. I'm eating some cookies now xD

Is that too dangerous? silly question, I'm sure it is. But I have this week off and I'm literally bored to death.

I think the best way to stay up is to hear loud music and always do stuff?...dunno about playing a game, that could make me more sleepy I think =/...

what was your max. hours before you really had to take a long nap?

I've had about 48h once and it was really weird. I remember never feeling so good when I finally got to sleep in my bed... So Much Win

Still 29h without sleep is already pretty funny.

Not sleeping is even better as a shared experience. The most funny things are said and happen. Very Happy

More than a day for me, but that was during summer, and we were on a concert so we stayed up all night and have to wait until morning for our ferry back to the island where we stayed...

But I don't do that. I like my sleep :3

Meh staying awake for 48+ hours is quite easy when being used to go to lanparty every month (not anymore but when i was young.).
Didn't trust anyone there, so i just kept myself feeding BAWLS Guarana and stayed awake Very Happy

It's not dangerous to stay up for days on end (unless you have some congenital/chronic illness that may be affected negatively). The brain is always working whether you're asleep or awake (just in different modes).

I'm getting too old for this, my metabolism is changing Sad

But until 5-6 years ago I used to resist for many hours without sleeping (and without taking any drugs!). I think the max was a couple of days or so Razz
