I guess nV MVSS is not as efficient as they want us to believe.

Why do they force you to have both HBAO and MVSS? I thought the already included SSAO implementation in the DX9 version is good enough (none of the silly black ghosting like other UE3 games). In such a dark game, I doubt it would be noticeable anyway. I doubt MVSS would be noticeable either. Or tessellation. Oh wait... Nothing left.

Not sure about you, but I do see light shafts. Or higher resolution textures. Or higher resssolusssions.
Tessellation is actually quite noticeable in spots, but I didn't want facts to disrupt my point.

Putting dx11 "features" on dx9 games has basically always been a fail, but at least the game looks great anyway and we even have better textures on PC. And better resolution of course

Spoiler: | This is our reply to those who have nuked us. It seems someone is desperate to have us nuked, but for what? Being new? You don't trust new things? Whatever, but don't make your personal issues our issue. Every group started at a first release and we have done nothing other teams haven't done yet. It doesn't matter what -grouptag is on a game, some things are needed to crack and release games, things have changed since 1999 FYI. Have a look at previous game releases and wake up.
We saw "securom.protection.not.removed_exe.taken.from.web_i44.tinypic.com.-xREL-.png"
It's not removed. It's bypassed. If this and only this is your complaint, and the end-user doesn't notice the difference, then what's the problem? We can meanwhile inform you that the contents of the files you blame us for stealing (BatmanAC.exe and BmLauncher) are IDENTICAL to those you obtain from any real activated original game. And there's more to it...
If you want to prove this to yourself you can "activate" the game with the "time server activation" option which executes with game first time you run it after install. Do this by installing game without applying crack. Now suddenly in your gamedir you have those two files whose contents are IDENTICAL to those of the release in P2P. What does this mean? It means we've stolen nothing. And it also means those files are not cracked. It's a kind of mislabelling calling their release a crack, it's just different executable files that you receive by clicking "Next". Unconditionally. For those of you who own the original or have an original installer, you'll notice that you can enter any serial at installation. That's because there's anyway no real activation. It's probably just some kind of mechanism to control release date for the game. We just simplified the thing by giving you those executables already downloaded, in case for example you don't have internet at the time of game installation and also to make setup process one step shorter.
Then perhaps you are now wondering how exactly did we crack the game if we didn't provide any *cracked* executables? Well, normally we shouldn't be as kind as to explain the mechanisms of our cracks, but this time we feel urged to do so. "securom.protection.not.removed" is technically speaking correct. It happens to be that all Securom based games we've checked so far load an executable file called gameservices.dll in the main exe's process. we could have integrated our code into main exe and you wouldn't even have noticed, but the option of automatically loaded .dll just made it smoother. It's not a generic .dll that works on all securom games, it's tailormade for this release and coded by us. If the .dll is present, which it isn't by default. From there you have access to what happens inside the main executable. If you can do a little bit of digital surgery you can trick the game to start. This also means that technically speaking, if you would like to, you could also probably - in a strict interpretation of the word loader - nuke us for using a loader. But that would be a very non pragmatic approach. Also it would leave a lot of releases by all groups vunrable for those tiniest of technicalities. Similar things have been done before with other groups, a famous paul.dll perhaps rings a bell?
That's also a funny thing about Securom: Try for example Lego Harry Potter 5-7 years. Modify the first instruction in paul.dll at OEP to: 0C3H or "ret" and you have bypassed the protection. (There might be some edition of this game out there where paul.dll isn't present) Then of course on top of that they added Securom media check, which isn't that silly easy to crack.
Enough of this. We could give you the entire manual on how to beat Securom, but that's not the point. Nevertheless, we'll be waiting for Securom to öturn offö the LoadLibrary ögameservices.dllö in their next release.
So. to sum it all up, you now know the details:
1) It can seem that we've stolen the exes and crack from web, but that's not the case.
2) If the game works (with that we mean game starts) then in our opinion there's no need to bitch about some small technicality.
And between, in case you guys didn't think about it: You're accusing us of stealing a crack that isn't even a crack. That's almost funny.

Sorry fightclub but LOTS of people are still getting the crappy 4004 securerom errors with this game including myself. This means yes your stuff is not working.

Didn't really had the time to check out the DX11 stuff as I saw the low framerate, the question is : Are the graphical improvements of dx11 worth waiting for a patch or dx9 would do just fine ?

No, DX9 is just fine. Looks damn stunning. I see no reason to wait for DX11 patch that will come out God knows when.

You need to install iOS 5 for the graphical improvements.

I don't think there's a setting to enable/disable HBAO and/or MVSS. There is EnableDX11Renderer (or something similar) and DX10. If you enable DX10 but disable DX11, only tessellation works, and I read performance is very good. Haven't tried though.

DX11 is not fixed with that patch. At least for me it doesn't do anything. The same behaviour as without the patch. Maybe it's because I run a Steam version and it does not work well with it.

I have the steam version installed the patch and DX11 works perfectly.I had to do a forced install though as the patch errored out otherwise.
