Hehe just took off the heatsinks reapplied the thermal pastes (have some decent stuff instead of the shit i'd used before) gave them both a good clean.

Its not perfect, should be doing the xclamp but cant be assed drilling out the heatsink like mentioned in the guide. It seems to power up at first, locks up.. Then switch off and on again and runs for a good hour or two before looking up whilst gaming... Maybe it'll last longer who knows, either kinda useless for me... gonna have to wait for the hitachi update.

argh... i caved in. updated my liteon to LT+2.0 and downloading this bitch... i can't wait anymore.

How hard is it actually to flash these 360 drives? I have Falcon X360 with I believe LiteOn drive that I have had flashed to iXtreme 1.5 LT I believe. Do I need any special equipment to update to newest firmware?

if it was flashed before you don't need anything but the original firmware files and then use jungleflasher to flash to the newest LT+.
