in bc2, lmg was front line weapon, running around firing from hip ^^. Here it is what its supposed to be. a area denial, squad support weapon. You are most effective at being behind your troops, a bit on higher ground, suppressing the enemy and denying huge chunks of land to the enemy.

real deal,i like it Smile

Yah the squad setup is more like 2142 really and that one was awsome. Smile

Lonewolfing is severly crippled in BF3 and you really have to rely on your teammates in this one. Smile

in a good squad, you dont need the commo rose Smile

that being said, i REALLY need the "need ammo" point in that commo rose. pointing at someone never seems to have the intended result lol ^^.

Yes, much better than in BC2. Can even hit moving objects by simply aiming at them! In BC2 you had to aim 1-2m ahead Laughing
But I'm sucking right now too, the default sensitivity is way too much for me, toned it down a bit but I think more tuning is needed. And without unlocks the weapons are a bit rubbish too.

Only thing I've noticed, jumping out of a plane chopper diving off a cliff etc, when looking down at the ground and zoomed in I noticed mega microstuttering, Dont notice it when running around in game etc but when you are falling fast and stuff its noticable, makes it impossible to zoom in and try and fire a round off at someone on way down.

Anyone get this?

Looking at it now, bc2 was the poorest of all the battlefield games or spinoffs (which it is).

True, agreed!
I still can't get rid of memories how bad was shooting in BC2...

5 friends round last night watching BF3.

Comments were as followers (We're mega excited for this game like I was)

"Wtf is that big ball of light doing floating there" < server issue? happened more than once
"Blow something up!" "Wtf it doesnt blow up like BC2?" < How lame....
"its randomly rubberbanding / lagging" could be connection but servers just cant keep up with big matches in my opinion
"the sea looks fucking awful!" << Yup

But they all agreed it was running very smooth on my PC.
I hate how they give a shit excuse about multiplayer games not wanting to have destruction like BC2 coz it would just be a levelled map. Sounds like bullshit excuse to me.

I also am not 100% convinced that the game will ever have the fluid crazy sensation you get with BC2. Okay the graphics are amazing, there are some nice new mechanics here and there but this is definately not what I was hoping for... I've seriously been tempted to play some BC2.

Can you guys (fanboys etc) SERIOusLY say that this game has impressed you as much as you thought it would?

You seem to think that this is a bad company game...

Fantastic that AMD has managed to get a driver fix out for the people with issues..

Now nVidia, how about you look into the problems that many of your customers are having?

Their driver itself aint fixed, their caps are.
The preview driver still makes ALL adobe products crash here. While 11.9 does not.

Ok, I'm going to write this IN BIG TEXT, because it has been asked and answered MULTIPLE TIMES.

The Battlefield 3 game key and Back to Karkand key is the ONE AND SAME KEY.

Physical Warfare Pack is a SEPARATE KEY.

Well, you should tell that to the origin support guys Very Happy And someone here posted a screenshot of what seemed to be two separate keys, so I just assumed that LE copies had karkand included and you could get the karkand key separately.

Still wondering how i can check what my key is though. I can see the karkand filter on battlelog (even if no maps show, as it's not released yet).

Oh well, shame on me, that's what happens when you buy keys online Very Happy You don't know what version you'll get, language and even if it will work Very Happy

You have to open the american website. On the support website just click on the bottom right on country selector and change your country to USA

sausje, you can say its utterly pointless but its fair enough to assume that there are going to be connections made between the two products.

I remember BC2 having issues but I dont recall there being the HuGE amount of server issues that are surrounding the bf3 release.

That could be just down to the sheer fuckload of people whom are playing bf3 though Smile

Tested and make a nice improvement to crossfire performance, no stuttering like the cap3s

Worth a try. Google around if you think that link is fake. I'm using em and am happier.

Server performance should be only affected by the number of players actually playing on it. No matter the server i play on I'm often having lag issues on them (even with very low ping), so there is definitely something wrong.

Performance wise SP is great, but i'm often having stuttering in MP especially on big maps like caspian border, and the performance gets worse the longer i play.

Well, nothing a patch can't fix Very Happy
