Sounds good to me. So are you suppose to use the VPN when redeeming the code in Origin or when the preload is done? Have not received my key yet, so I'm not quite sure how this works.

When the Preload is done you start the game with an active VPN, it makes the release check and tells you the date depending on your IP.

That's not the issue. Issue is when Battlelog opens for masses and if opens depending on regions.

If it opens for everyone on 24th, awesome.

Ahh yeah, fcking Battlelog. Sad

I wonder.. why MW3 has world wide release and BF3 doesn't? EA can't manage that?

Exactly. How is Origin supposed to know you bought the game if you haven't redeemed the key?

Why would they need to know - I couldn't do anything with preloaded content without a key anyway. Let me preload it and then just unlock it with my key, come tuesday...

This activating trough VPN to make release date earlier is safe right? Or there is no warranty?

it is territory violation (against EULA) but if it was a large enough problem in the userbase then i'd imagine valve/steam would of tried to put a stop to vpns/proxies by now.

I never had problems with g2play keys... BUT you never know, if they start deactivating keys we'll just notice it when the game goes live.

I suggest buying it with Polish proxy from Origin, costs around 33 euro's and you won't have problems with dodgy key sites.

Proxy? That's like asking EA to take away the game. But EA Store is a giant mess, so that may work Laughing

Well, i bought Star Wars: The Old Republic with a proxy last month, so it's very possible Wink
