So. . .for the animation retarded out there - this video is a fake. . .or what? It looks like the bottom of a pool, or some dingy flat in San Fran with all that blue.

Can you do better? If not, you better start praising it.
Fully dynamic lighting? What are you talking about? There is no such thing.
Welcome to 2001 when severance already had it...
And even if everything was lit dynamically, this scene is so LOW poly, that it doesn't even matter if there is real time global illumination, dynamic lighting and whatever... Cryengine 3 can do this scene without a hassle. Just a good tonemap and the right selection of light sources..
*btw the shadows are most probably pre rendered as we can see in the video where there is an entrance on the right of the wall and you can see that the shadow blurs out*
Ok so far we have SSAO, glow, vignette, noise, 480p to 720p upscale shit, HD NoiZâ„¢, Mega textureâ„¢ and real-colorâ„¢.
With the Luminous engine they're getting closer to realistic lighting (which is THE most important factor in creating a realistic game world). But I can't say I'm impressed with the 10 second clip and the screenshots. We need a proper tech demo that people can run on their own DX11 systems.
It also shows where next-gen consoles are going: DX11/11.1 or some variant of it.

The CPU was hardly stressed (it's a scripted demo, so it makes sense, all the load is on the GPU. If it was a real game with real AI etc the CPU would be stressed as well), the texture data used 1.8GB of the VRAM and it ran at 1080p@60.
