Yes you are. It's the standard response any company would give IMO.

I haven't noticed any difference on 4 so I guess 3. This game needs some heavy modding to be the game that was supposed to be... I'm done for now, I'll wait for more patches and fixes and whatever other things will show up for this game.

don't extract the whole .pak file.
get WinRAR
start WinRAR
open the data0.pak file in WinRAR
navigate to Data>Skills
Extract default_levels.xml to desktop
don't close WinRAR
open the extracted default_levels.xml with notepad
search for CameraDefaultFOV within the extracted default_levels.xml
change the <prop n="CameraDefaultFOV" v="xx.x"/> where xx.x is the desired FOV
save the file
drag the modified default_levels.xml from your desktop back to the WinRAR window and click OK

BTW. The game plays much better with a XBOX 360 Controller (or XBOX 360 controller emulator). The menus/inventory etc. becomes much more tolerable. I highly recommend it.
Also, for AA I used the manual override in driver panel. Looks much better with edge detect.

I changed mine to 80.0 from 62.5. So I assume 90.0.

I dont know, its working for me with the pirated copy (my savegames dissapeared once tho, but it seems the co-op is working)... so you shouldnt have any problem with the legit one

Dont know if Im going to play it AGAIN if the saves dissapear again, the game is awesome but I dont like to repeat everything 3 times

Funny, if I walk forwards I get stuttering, but as soon as I tap a strafe key it stops stuttering until I stop and start walking again.

EDIT: With the patch, that is. Unpatched doesn't stutter.

you forgot to tell him how you get around the "file size hash check" problem after altering it. as game wont start up otherwise.

If I knew the solution to this common problem I would post it. These are the simple steps which I took to successfully change my FOV. In case it matters, I'm using unpatched Reloaded release.

Read this for micro-stuttering fix:

If you're going to mod your Data0.pak file to edit fov or disable blur you must do this:
In a hex editor open engine_x86_rwdi.dll (make backup first)
then you have to go to offset 17134E
and starting at the above offset until offset 171354
change the values there to
E9 8F 02 00 00 90
save file, you're done.
It won't crash now that you disabled archive hash checking.

Well I am under the impression that companies shouldn't reply to every single bit of controversy that surfaces. It's even lamer than GTA4's "Hot Coffee" thing. I mean it's two fucking words in a bunch of code stuff in a file that you shouldn't even modify in the first place ffs.

Not only that editing the .xml files and recompressing doesn't work here (depends on WinRAR version? Really, how many ppl here have managed to do this? Confused ) also I tried using the X360 controller and it feels totally wrong.

What do you guys say? Controller or mouse and keyboard?

can anyone upload all accessible language(DataXX.pak) files on steam? (from DI folder)

You probably want to do edit your dataX.pak file on your own, since the "fix" i uploaded before doesn't really work for everyone.

no I just need some language files - reloaded release consist only English (DataEn.pak) and i want other languages (mostly DataPL.pack, DataFR.pack and DataCZ.pack) - they should be available through steam

i just tested this and when running the game I get a "this dll is was not whatever to run on your're whatever system .. whatever.. Very Happy etc etc"

all was changed correctly from right offset to ending one at 350E.. bugger why oh why..

The bugs themselves are VERY few and far between, my man, I didn't even want or need that patch. I'm lucky so far though, I've not had any major issues except losing progress post-patch and, for some reason, quest markers going walkies for a short while. Everything else has been fine since then.
