If it's just a simple "taskkill" or what the process is actually called wouldn't that be Windows just ending the first found process found after getting that command?

That's why you should use the PID (Process ID) for such matters, not the executable name Wink

i think im coming up to the end of chapter 2.

does anyone else think the game feels smaller than the first game? i dont know if the exploration areas are physically larger or not, it just FEELS like theyre smaller, feels like im doing less exploring.. its just not the expansive open game i was kinda hoping for - like everythings been compressed 'for my convenience'.... a couple of big 'arenas' stitched together, instead of a region to explore.

i guess id liken it to me2... its more focused, definately (and im not saying thats a BAD thing) - but it comes at the price of feeling huge and expansive - did anyone else feel the same way?

also, the inventory system really is a piece of shit. we all know its bad, but its REALLY starting to annoy me now.. aggressively small carry weight, rubbish sorting system, pointless junk drops... how can they design something so frustrating and silly... surely cdp have played this game endlessly - were they never once bothered by any part of their inventory system? ugh... not wanting to 'cheat', atleast on my first playthrough, is the only thing stopping me from hunting down that weight-limit removal mod or whatever it is.

Nah, can complete the quest without it. You miss out on some rewards though, I think.

I still love the game but
i have to agree, some absolutely retarded design choices
another is the totally fucking useless map/minimap i have spent hours wandering around looking for this house or that house because there is nothing on the map that would indicate it

and ya TW1 felt "bigger" as a world

A mod to increase the weight capacity is a must imo, I can't imagine playing the game if I constantly had to sift through the junk to drop/sell items. It's not even sorted alphabetically so gl finding something specific. At least they have filters that make it somewhat bearable.

I think the problem is the length itself. In the first game you had Outskirts of Vizima, Vizima itself and the swamp, Lakeside and Old Vizima. Basically each chapter had a new location about the size of Flotsam and it's surroundings... I remember starting Act 5 thinking when this will end... So yeah, there's enought time for the story to fully develop and conclude.

In the second one it's just bad pacing that makes you feel a bit empty at the end. Act 3 is waaay to short and isn't really as exciting as the previous 2. They should have made Act 3 as long as the first one, maybe doing quests for the different factions in the city...

I liked the first one better, since i usually play RPG's for story.

Don't, please, just don't ever mention me2 and w2 in the same sentence - makes me cry. One is the best RPG of recent times, the other is a dumbed down piece of shit TPS. To call ME2 focused is an understatement, ME2 is a corridor shooter, w2 is way more open.

Now, funny thing about chapter 2 is, if you chose a different ending for chapter 1, you have a completely different chapter 2. So the game has more breadth than depth. That's a good thing, as choices have real consequence.
