About the female body design. Did he rant that cdp didnt do a good job or did he compare to other "disney" games with ridiculios female body design?

good thing is that it should be out pretty damn quick - atleast the gog version... id expect to see it going up right after activation, no?
and re: play length.. i wonder how much it can be stretched out by soaking up atmosphere, and talking to random npcs and shit... i mean plenty of games that can be stretched out quite easily just by taking the time to enjoy them, can actually be finished pretty quick if you just optimize your travel and plow through the quests...

Even among the reviewers there are differences when it comes to the play lenght. The other one mentioned something around 28h. It seems there's quite a bit of exploration in TW2, as opposed to the first one, so play time may be quite dependant on how much you snoop around. I'm definitely a bit concerned about it, but still, if the game is as non-linear as they seem to suggest and the gameplay is actually deep, focused, instead of being artificially prolonged by filler quests and backtracking, then I should be satisfied.

Gamelength doesn't mean anything. I remember games that took me 20+ hours while people here said "done, took me 8 hours". It all depends on how you play. Witcher 2 is also all about replay value.

thats pretty much what i was getting at. you can run a game quick, or you can take your time and soak it in... something i doubt the reviewers did very much of.

With reviewers saying the mainquest is at least 25 or hours,it's pretty clear than you can drag it out to very fulfilling length. Some people finish RPGs in 25 hours, some 45 or more.

Guys, could someone tell me what do you download from the GOG when you buy the game, installless game files or do you download the instalation, just like it would come on a DVD? I'm thinking about buying the first and prepurchasing the second for 50$ altogether, but I'd also like to burn them on a DVD, and I want to know if I'd have to make an installer.
Thanks

That remains to be seen. Unless you take CDA's review for gospel.

I´d rather have 25 hours of great fun without any dull moments than a 40 hour game where half of that time is spent doing filler quests and other stuff that is only there to artificially lengthen the game. Since when does game length equal how great a game is?? Give me a game that´s short and sweet over a game where I´m bored out of my mind halfway through any time.
