Indeed they are terrible.

edit The forums were completely different few years ago when Steam was mostly used to deliver Valve's product.

Yeah... no. I shut down my G2Play account a while back. First they sell me a dodgy MW2 key that was already used by someone else, though they replaced it in the end, then they started demanding photocopies of my ID - and when I refused and deleted my account, the very next day my COD4 key mysteriously stopped working. Not to mention their prices are now absolutely despicable for the most part, generally a lot more expensive than retail Rolling Eyes

Goddamn crooks.

OKS have some good deals sometimes, but even they are getting more and more expensive. *misty eyes* I remember a time when key warehouses were actually cheaper than retail Laughing

I don't know in what country you live but G2Play's prices are always cheaper than the retail prices no way in hell they are more expensive. I never had problems with them and their support is fast and on point.

And there's nothing wrong with them asking for your ID i really dont see the problem in that as you can hide parts that you don't want them to see with paint. All that matter for them is your picture and your name on the ID nothing more.

And I seriously doubt they had anything todo with your COD4 key not working anymore, maybe you should lay off the no-cd cracks/hacks Embarassed

Yeah, no-cd cracks (FYI: COD4 is unprotected) caused the game to say "CD-Key in use" right?

Total War: Shogun 2. £29 from G2Play. £26 from Game.co.uk - for the Limited Edition too. G2Play's version is a digital key-only without the Limited Edition bonuses. Game's version is a retail disk with the bonuses.

Homefront. £30.35 from G2Play. £24.99 from Game.co.uk -- Steelbook Edition too. G2Play's version is a digital key-only without any kind of bonus. Game's version is a retail disk with a free copy of Metro 2033 and DLC weapons too.

Deus Ex:HR. £32.09 from G2Play. £27.99 from Game.co.uk.

And Game is generally considered pretty expensive, as far as highstreet stores go.

Fucking troll. Take a hike.

Ouch Sad Don't get me wrong, I wasn't knocking your choice at all - I love key warehouses, I just don't use/trust G2Play any longer. I'll most likely pick up the PC version when I fly back to England in two weeks - but I want to "test" it first Wink

I bought Bad Company 2 there, works just fine, got the key in a few hours. Homefront needs to be registered to Steam so you use the key you get for that which is pretty cool. And 29.99 GPB is not a bad price. And of course, that is a LEGIT download service site.

So why would this game get relatively low scores if the reviewers weren't a bunch of bribed assholes? To me it looks almost exactly like MW2 / Black Ops with vehicles. Laughing

Oh well, retarded gaming industry, hooooo!

MW2 / Black Ops both games with SP campaigns that last from 3 to 4h made as tutorial to MP, and both only got popular by MP, both SCORE :86 to 90 and are praised by the Inbreed Jurnos as the game you want to have a baby or crush the dvd and snort it like coke

This game Homefront SP campaign Lasts from 3 to 4h made as tutorial to the real game thats MP but this one SCORES : 72 and its hated by all

but inbreed games like Bulletstorm and Dragon Age 2 get 80 - 84
lol wut

That how the industry rolls right now , not around gamers and theirs opinions but about reviews fat ass opinions...market shares, convincers and false advertisement

i miss the days of Shareware , Demos and Trail Versions ... now we only get stupid trailers of something that should convince us to buy ... its like advertising of candy that tries to describe the taste and force you to buy it with out any free samples that would convince you about the taste...

I've got big time buyers remorse with this game. I simply can't believe they fucked up the MP component so bad in terms of feel and balancing. When 90% of the team camps with the M110 (and you can't fault them as that is the most efficient weapon in the game in terms of kills/points), you've got a big fucking problem.

They need to either implement a class cap, drastically lower weapon damage, or drastically increase player health, preferably a bit of all three. As it stands there are no firefights, every single engagement boils down to who sees who first. Yes, yes, I know that's real - but it sure as fuck isn't fun (unless of course camping like a queer in a wookie suit is your thing, in which case you'll feel right at home in this game Very Happy )

I still feel as though I haven't expressed my disappointment enough. Kaos is forever on my "do not bother" list unless they sort this shit out right quick.

Nothing of the sort. I'm simply stating my huge disappointment (MP wise) - the game did NOT turn out how they claimed it was going to be. There is no teamwork - you can't pick where you spawn, you can't spawn on your squad, squads are totally worthless as half the time you're not even sure where your squad-mate is. it's simply a camp fest. If you like camping, you'll love the MP. If, however, you are used to a more tactics oriented run and gun feel (Battlefield's/BC etc) you are going to be seriously frustrated with what you find here.

Hfric must have a closet full of wookie suits! Very Happy

We'll make sequel longer if fans complain, says Kaos
Quote:

Kaos has told CVG that Homefront 2 will be longer in the single-player department - if fans complain en masse about the first game's five-hour campaign length.

Kaos GM David Votypka said that it would be "a balance" to extend the single-player story whilst developing a top-notch multiplayer component - the area for which Homefront has attracted the most praise.

He explained: "It's a balance really. So if we were doing a single-player only game - and there are some of those out there of course - then you're talking maybe a 20-hour single-player campaign.

"I think going forward we'd certainly work on extending it a few hours, but going past the 10-hour mark and doing a category-leader multiplayer game... you just have to balance your development resources there.

"I think the main thing is do people feel that they got enjoyment out of the single-player campaign and enough of it? So we'll see how it comes out and what the gaming audience has to say about it."

Votypka stressed that multiplayer - taking into account Kaos' history developing big online shooters - is very much the focus of its efforts.

"We also want to focus on a large-scale multiplayer game and that you get a lot of hours play out of that as well - because that's infinitely more replayable than single-player anyway and you're going to spend the bulk of your time there," he said. "So we really want to make sure that's robust and deep."
