Maybe your problem isn't CPU performance?

After an hour of playing, the lagg/stutter are gone for me. So everyday I start my first match I get massive lag/sutter but it becomes less every match.

Probably not.
As Yondaime stated earlier; after each patch the game's gone from bad to worse.
And as of now my game is unplayable aswell. Strange as hell since i havent done anything with it.
It was somewhat playable yesterday, today its a mess.

try deleting your modded ini if you have one and let the game recreate. See if that runs it any better.

I read in another forum that updating your onboard drivers, if you use them (Realtek), might improve performance.
Realtek updated their drivers yesterday.
I havent tried it myself yet, still downloading the drivers...

I keep thinking about it, but then think, hmm will i have to deal with fucking around for shitty hitching again.. it sort of puts me of bothering sometimes.. I want to play it to death but I also want to log on and not have to deal with shitty archfail coding...

And to your next question or statement, NO ITS NOT!...

Ill give it a test run in a min though if your server is behaving.

I see its full though so probably not worth the effort right now .. tends to lead to more lag problems Very Happy

Hey PC gamers:

We are listening to you and we’ve been busy working on updates based on feedback from the community. We have already deployed a number of updates, and there will be many more to come. Stay tuned right here for all the latest info.

IN PROGRESS

• Added an option to create shaders during load time. This fixes hitching when viewing a new area of the map for the first time on some video cards.
• Incomplete server browser results.
• Improvements to Quickmatch results (with better ping and reduced lag)..
• /connect
• /reconnect
• Improved threading performance on computers with only 2 cores.
• Fixed random freezes in certain computer configurations.
• Increased reserved slots to 9.
• Improvements to the spawn system to resolve an issue where negative spawn influencers from specific game events were not always being deleted after the danger had cleared – in some matches, this was causing good spawns to be erroneously flagged by the game as bad spawns, which in turn forced actual bad spawns to get selected later in the match
• Weekly and Monthly leaderboards will now track all kills, deaths and assists properly (All Time leaderboards were not affected by this)
• Prevention of killstreak selection getting disabled in Combat Training under rare conditions
• Array: Added collision to prevent players from partially clipping into a tree
• Launch: Added collision to prevent players from strafe jumping onto an invisible ledge at the base of the rocket near B3
• Summit: Added collision to prevent players from jumping to a location outside of the map boundary when in Custom Games where player speed is maxed out
• Havana: Added collision to prevent players from jumping onto an invisible ledge above a doorway at C2
• Nuketown: Adjusted a spawn point that would spawn players on top of a mannequin’s head when that mannequin was randomly spawned in that location
• Launch: User could access a small platform outside of the intended play space below the rocket gantry by jumping to a very specific location; now blocked from access
• Launch: User could access a small area inside geometry at vents near Dom flag A by going prone and moving around in a very specific location; now blocked from access
• Some users reported that weapon attachment challenges were not resetting after prestige; now all are guaranteed to clear as soon as selecting the prestige option
• Radar sweep when there are only 2 players left in One in the Chamber will stop functioning if the 2 players have multiple lives when the sweep starts
• Villa: User can clip into rock at west edge of grid zone B2 and see through to the other side
• Crisis: User can clip into LVT between grid zone A3 and B3 and see through to the other side
• User can get an infinite number of 'Sam Turret', 'Care Package' and 'Sentry Gun' killstreaks (commonly referred to as the “care package glitch”)

Huge update coming soon. Hope it fixes stuttering.

Wonder when is it going to be launched

never i hope, until they can hand on heart say we found the issues it was obvious and overlooked, sorry etc. as its a bullshit update for sure otherwise..

"• Added an option to create shaders during load time. This fixes hitching when viewing a new area of the map for the first time on some video cards."

^^ oreally...... for the first time eh? thats not the fucking problem, the problem is texture popping albeit subtle and hitching is predominant for those that have it through the whole game, no matter how many times you have viewed new areas of the map..

shocking, but I have a feeling the next "big patch" is not going to do fuck all if anything make things worse.. I think the whole added shader crap workaround button is going to be a way of bypassing some shitty code they done and wont again work for majority of purchasers.

They said shader hitching is a problem of Fermi cards, and they worked with nvidia to address the issue.

For owners of other cards the option won't help them.

I haven't seen a single texture pop.

where the fuck does it say fermi cards, not to mention why would they be focusing on fermi cards ffs how gay.

another thing, poping u will see it for sure, its very subtle as its a LOD texture pop, walk slowly focus on the sandbags or something on a map and watch as u get closer you will see a slight change in detail, its hardly noticeable but there IS a level of detail texture update on a fair few models in blackops...

If you dont see anything and are honest about it, then it just means it would be a driver and game issue where things dont get loaded ,, what narks me is the LOD is sure as its not a texture change and then ur done like loading textures for the level fully, its a distance view issue as if you back up again walking it goes back to a lower level of detail. rinse repeat...

fuck im fuming now about that card update fix bullshit wtf is that ugh fuck them god so mad i think im gonna go around the universe on my horse.

we are aware of long shader compile times on nvidia 4 series cards causing hitching. working with nvidia on a fix.

Because owners of Fermi cards like me, experience the problem? Why SHOULDN'T they??

I didn't notice it. I haven't played blops for more than a week, but I don't remember noticing this.

But in any case, why do you think that this is a problem? Did you lower the texture resolution and the hitching went away? Because if it didn't, that's not the problem!

well i only said it as i would bet the amount of people with those cards are not a huge % right now.. or at least with playing cod games.. Dunno if they fixed stuff for those on the basis of reporting of problems and majority were those card types then fine, otherwise it seems a blatant ignore of the general again..
