In the savannah area, somewhere near the spiral path which you have to walk with a horse during a quest,I have found a dungeon filled with stone sentinels. At the beginning of it,I had to drop down off a platform-like thing, down a stony cliff. So far so good,I reached the end of the dungeon without any problems. Now,however,I see no exit at the end of it! And going back through the entrance is out of the question, since I see no way to go back up the platform!
So,in case you have explored this dungeon, have you found the exit?If not,is it possible to cheat and use a gravitation or noclip cheat?Or,is there any other solution to this? I haven't saved for several hours,so I can't reload another save...thanks in advance! |
Upload the save, someone might be able to check it out.

For a "CompuGeek" you seem to know very little about how to browse to your game's folder? It's not that hard, actually.
Instructions: to get to thy magical .pdf manual thou must cast thy spell "browse to game directory", and there will be light.

Huh?
You just kill the specific group (Flag is right in the middle of them and the quest status will update as well, perhaps it's a bit too simple at times in that regard to mark quests and just follow them blindly, or maybe you had some other quest marked and attacked a different herd of those birds?) and in addition to feathers and lungs (rare) you'll get the roots as common loot when you search the bodies.
(Don't use them for potions as they're quest specific.)

they are in a sort of a trickery spot, at least when I was trying to find them I kept running into big mean things that didn't like me. I think one of the reasons for this is to learn how to follow the quest marker and make sure the quest is high lighted in your quest book.

BATTLEMAGE!!!
Well, sorta....gotta use my staff as a melee weapon, but hey, its got GREAT reach, and can obviously hit more than one person (plus I don't have to sit with my thumb up my ass while my mana regens at 110 a second.
(can you later put skill gems that give +regen (forgot the skill name) for mana?) to get it above the 110 a sec limit
Anyways my MAIN question, is what melee skill(s) will affect how badass my physical hits with my staff are?
Thanks in advance! LOVE THIS GAME!!!!

For somebody who is as insistent as you, since when do we get the game manual in the game directory with a pirated copy?
Hey if I'm wrong somebody else who pirated the game, tell me exactly which game directory folder this pdf is in cuz it sure isn't in any of mine.

Follow the main storyline for a while, go to the inn and talk to people and continue from there.
Just finished the game, nice that you can keep playing but if you are thorough as been said there's not much to do by then, also going back to the end area is possible but it's unchanged and you can also get stuck since the exit back out is blocked, heh.
About 30 hours all in all so quite OK.
(Main story in Two Worlds 1 would be something like 10 hours and then another 30 - 40, possibly up to 50 depending on how much you explore and sidequests done.)
It's kinda like the change from Divinity 1 to Divinity 2 in a way in how it's more restrictive but better told and focused though with some downsides to overall length and how much you can explore, dungeons also mostly just contains these chests that scale and contain random loot so not much aside from the XP from killing the monsters there.
(Dungeons are nice but there's only a few in Hatmandor you'll explore outside of the quests and those are blocked off until said quests, not much else you won't see during the main story and similar sidequests in the other areas and they're also fairly small.)
A good effort and overall a nice title, still a lot to do with the MP part but I'll hope they'll add to the SP in a proper expansion later on, some later end creatures and monsters were also a bit under utilized here but it's better than in the first game where undead and orcs were propped all over the southern area I suppose.
(Some creatures aren't used very much at all though by then they're also a rather small challenge.)
Ending was a bit so-so but I suppose it works as to avoid any spoilers and keeping it a bit vague.

Time to post my opinion on the game: Too easy. Once you reach level 11 or so, the game turns piss easy.
I played a warrior to level 21 or 22 and since level 11 (once you get 15* items) I can steam roll anything. I decided to restart and created a mixed character with skillpoints spent equally into everything. It's more challenging but still piss easy. Just use the 'oculus' traps for hard encounters.
Nevertheless, cool game. Magic system is really nice, and the battle animations look good. I hope there was some gore in this. Some of the slowed down animations beg for decapitations.
One question:
Is the sneaking skill really useful at all? Does it really just speed your sneaking up, ie. doesn't make you any harder to detect? I find looting houses impossible since you cannot sneak in the rooms where people are sleeping, they are always waking up immediately.

Can't sneak from NPC's as you can't open chests while sneaking and other than that it's mostly related to death strike, improved speed means you can get out of sight before the opponent turns or spots you though detection is a bit sketch at times due to how the AI works.
It's a interesting skill though rather under-utilized, death strike can also only be used on the more idling enemies so is a bit limited and sneaking and stabbing with the dagger isn't very effective compared to using a real weapon outside of the instant kill attack.
(Critcal hits perhaps affected somewhat as well via that bow skill but I don't think it is.)

@JB,
thanks for all the info (as always)....can you clear something up for us (unless it was mentioned pages and pages ago)
What all re-spawns after you finish it? I've heard it was just hyena's and baboons and such.....

My saved game time counter says 11hours, but I'm pretty sure I'm at the final battle already. Was kinda long, easy to die and didn't allow saving, so haven't bothered finishing it yet.
Kinda odd though, didn't really mean to rush through the game. Granted, I didn't really go looking for side quests after I started concentrating on the main quest.

Apparently (and I could be wrong) certain items hold certain types of gems....weapons/rings/armor
Also, if it is a high level gem (which most skill gems are) then make sure you have your gem crafting skill leveled up enough.
If you can't put the gem into ANYTHING, then you know it is because of the skill not being high enough.

Most of the time the .pdf is there. If its not there it can often be downloaded from the game's official site, and if not, there's always someone here who have already uploaded it. It would've taken you max 5 seconds to search for "manual" and you would have found this d/l link: http://www.multiupload.com/WHX8T8WCFT which was posted earlier in the thread.

Yeah, I haven't messed with those either. I'm ASSUMING that one would wait until they've upgraded the item as much as possible (or at least unlocked all the sockets) and then throw the sealing attribute in.
What level is your gem (forgot the proper name) skill at? It should be under crafting.

I was saying that I "wanted" become a battlemage. Was asking what melee skills to invest in, and if they would affect my staff.

You can put a sealing crystal only in the 6th slot, which seals the item crafted and you can't take the crystals off anymore I believe. Read the manual guys, I say it again. Reading the manual for this game helps you quite a lot in understanding the features of the game.
