Not quite sure what you so mad about. Ok, I misunderstood you but were you refering to the fact I quoted the same thing twice? I just noticed you had managed to reply to me first time even though I deleted the post like a second later. If so, then yes it might have looked kind of weird. In my mind the first post never happened but it still bugged me enough that I decided to reply to it again later.

dont know if anyone mentioned it yet. when u quit in a mission theres is no resume button after clicking campaign. easy way to fix that: click campaign,press esc,click campaign again and voila the resume button is back

Some interesting info from Beyond3D: a Treyarch dev claims that:
a) "before the IW fiasco Treyarch didn't have access to anything from IW - no help, no assets, no MW2 engine, nothing." so for CoD:WaW, they used "a MW1 code drop - meaning, here's bunch of code and assets, go have fun."
b) for MW2 "IW did have access to W@W, but I don't think they cared" since "by the time the other studio is out you are half way through development" because IW and Treyarch have 2 year development time only.
c) since Treyarch had no access to the MW2 engine, they enhanced their own WaW branch for Black Ops,"so when asking why is this a step back from MW2 you have to understand from Treyarch's perspective it never was MW2, it was W@W." "The engines have drifted apart, mostly because IW worked in full secrecy and isolation." and only "after the IW fiasco there was more access to MW2 source code" but it was too late because "COD:BO was basically wrapping up".
d) He also claims that textures are low res "due to lack of space on the DVD. The disc is maxed out. There's like a meg or so left. "

I just played a wager match and ugh, it's arcade mode so it takes a billion shots to get someone down...
Anywho, this game needs some serious patching. After effing around with all the settings and configs I managed to get the game as stable as possible, meaning no stutters but a weird fluxuation in FPS between 35 and 75. At least it's somewhat playable now.
That the game sets by default to multigpu and no multithreading is the luls, also I changed both how much ram the game uses and what CPU frequency I'm using (this was done by copying what I had in MW2).

Thanks for that. I'm now getting low fps, around 25 but the game runs much better.

anyone have any idea what the settings with ??? mean?
I have this idea, that the shuttering happens when you face someone that has custom emblem, and that it loads that emblem on the fly and thus shutters, but that's stupid, who would do it without prerendering it at the start of the game.

The problem is that WaW ran flawless for me, with no stuttering whatsoever or anything else
