only samsungs don't do AP2.5 ... Benq and Liteons do AAGGGHHH!!! but on BQ you can do a HDD install and it will run

i just updated the dashshitboard and now the 360 wont start from the disc, everytime i start it, it goes to the dashboard. Anyone else have this problem? i checked the settings and the startup is on "Disc" but still the motherfucking son of a bitch wont start the disc, ive tried original and other games still the same problem - anyone got a solution?

got benq here with 1.5 and it runs fable 3 patched to wave 3 no problem with new dash

[+c4eva] just a word of warning on the sed "disc swap" [note x-s: see our x360SED v1.0 news], although this passes the timing check, ap25 also returns data from its check which will be wrong with the wrong disk and will get you banned!
[+c4eva] the trigger for ap25 is still being investigated, but assume a list of titles of some sort or some check, not the xex!
[+c4eva] no ap25 traffic was ever logged with fifa 09

i patch all my games to work (old firmware) - and they all still do after the dash update, even fable 3.
so if you dont care about a live ban dont worry about this ap25 shit.

So you only get a live ban and not like last year that you console get banned ? meaning save games wont work anymore etc etc ?
Cause I got a BenQ and my box is never online so I play basicly all kind of games even those that dont have ssv2 or svv3 so when i update I do it from USB and if my console get banned for playing online then I dont give a shit as long as I still can install games and play them.

Yes, until the dash update is included on discs, and you need it to start the game..
Dashboard updates has come on discs before, no?

Not sure whether dashboard comes with games or not since i have been using PS3 and that does have firmware with games so i assume it to be same, what happens when mandatory dashboard comes out ? My SecData is clean as i have never connected to live

Well, SecData is pretty much useless information so far, since it changes WHEN the console is banned - so it's going to say "Clean" until you're banned - and when you are banned and the XVAL changes, you know it already.

llloooool. I have dashboard kinect beta version 12416(thats first kinect beta I think) and Jasper Elite 120gb (that came with batman and pure)
I think I have 1.61LT (flashed in march this year)
So after all this talk about 2,5AP check I decided to give FableIII a try. Abgx->imgburn just like every other game. And it works just like charm! No problems. Everything is booting normal.
So Can I update to official 1st nov dash or Should I stay with this 416 beta becouse maybe there was no ap25 yet then?
btw. I am updating everything offline from usb stick

What the fuck.. I updated to the latest dash today, and put in my bought Forza 3 disc - and it gives me Open tray like five fucking times!? It started after a few tries, but this has NEVER happened before, the disc is not scratched or anything.
Unbelievable..

Sorry for the ignorance, but when u say patch. Do u mean back to SSV1? Or is there something else. I am not fussed about Live and likely have already been flagged for banning, if not banned already, but would like to be able to play the new games with the AP25 check.

yea just the patch that came out when the wave 2, wave 3 etc shit started happening. i dont give a fuck about live either - m$ wont get any of my cash, whether from software or from paying for online services.
fuck the ap25 shit and everything else m$ tries. hahahaha FUCK THEM.

I guess there is no point in refusing the official 1st nov update..... we will have to update anyway when 12611 will be included on dvd in games
