Pretty sure that the old "Club key" trick won't work, since Svensson said that SFIV was heavily pirated because they failed to do the best they could to protect their title.

With regard to piracy on any platform, not just PC, my take is that you can never eliminate it, but you can reduce its impact on sales if you take the right steps and design approach. With SF4, I don’t think we protected the content very well.

The Lost.Planet.2.PS3.JB-DNL release is 9.8GB, but Takeuchi said on the PC there are going to be higher resolution textures.

I hope it has Local Network option for multi. Since I'm usually playing on a LAN network the latency isn't a problem for me.

People are saying that a trivium release has been cracked... Could someone verify this? I myself am not sure about it.
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Apparently it doesn't use anything but LIVE so a offline profile would be enough.
(SSA appears to be used so a random key won't work.)
EDIT: Validation done, install nearly finished - should have other details about the game shortly if all goes well then but a lot is known already so there's not much to add.
EDIT: Paul.dll, SecuROM appears to also be used, a crack would then be required, interesting.
EDIT: Launches either EXE via the launcher which uses SecuROM, need launcher to start but as it's LIVE a generic method might work as with Dead Rising 2 it would seem.

SP with AI allies if choosen, there's a open and a private mode as well but no specific LAN option as this is a LIVE game, Tunngle could work via that override registry key for network type once a modified XLive.dll is out to deal with the 30 ms latency limit.
It's definitively geared towards online play (MP) as been mentioned for the console release but it runs quite OK (Though again nothing advanced is used under DX9 mode as such and it looks a bit better than LP1 so the visuals aren't exactly super advanced or anything but they work.)
Could be fun but I recommend playing with friends, AI is apparently very stupid and tend to get in the way.
(That's why I'm running on easy at the moment.)

EDIT:

It's definitively larger in scope this time around and very fast paced with the action or what to say, might be fun for a playtrough.
Not much in terms of story so far but the action is nice and it's very fast, managing the thermal energies is important but with all the AI help or with skilled buddies you'll probably go trough the game quite easily on the lower difficulty levels.
(Well there's only easy, normal and high though, boss battles are apparently quite a sight as I said but so far there's only been the small and mid-sized enemies but I just began with the game, haha.)
Menus can be a bit cumbersome but you can use the mouse to navigate (Or gamepad if connected I guess.) instead of only using keyboard input.
A lot of customization available and full suit of tutorials to get into the game, unsure how MP is handled due to the key limitation but I suppose private matches via Tunngle or Hamachi might work around that eventually.
It looks OK as I said but it's well optimized and kept simple, check the vegetation in the initial jungle scene at the intro for example to see it's 2D based low-res sprites mostly to use one example but it does run close to 60 FPS which is quite impressive.
(Tesselation and the other DX11 functions might hit performance hard on lower-end DX11 capable hardware however as it's pretty extreme as shown in the tech images and the playable benchmark released earlier.)

So, to get this straight, Live keys can't be used with this game?
Edit: Ninja'd..
