Yeah Open Borders agreements are valid for 30 turns. I agree though that it sucks you can't cancel any agreements. The AI will cancel Pacts of Cooperation etc when they don't like you anymore, but you can't do the same.

I have had this error occur twice and each time I have pressed 'try again' and the game has continued fine.

I wish I'd known how lacking the multiplayer was in this before buying it. :/
Saving isn't properly implemented, can't use mods in MP at all, reported connection issues. Oh well, have to hope they won't take too long to fix it all.

I know it doesn't make it any less shitty, but for the most part initial releases of each Civ games are buggy piles of poo. Expect the AI to get better, as well as more multiplayer features and modes, such as manual saving and hotseat via patches and updates.

Is there a mod that enables historically accurate starting positions?

Don't explore, the game starts to go very slow when you have explored a bit of the map. They have done many tests, didn't matter much how big the map was and how many enemies you had. As soon as you have explored parts of the map, it slows down.

Can anyone confirm if the Angkor Wat wonder is working correctly for him ? It's supposed to reduce the culture cost of aquiring new tiles in ALL cities, for me it only reduced in the city in which it was built.

It seems I am unlucky as the game won't start for me. Both dx9 and dx11 exe's give the same result: game starts, intro movie plays fine for a few seconds (3-4) and game crashes before the movie even finishes to play. Never got to the menu. Darn.
It seems it's a known issue, by looking at [ur=http://forums.2kgames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87731l]THIS[/url].
Anyone else had this issue? Tips, ideas... ?! No solution from that thread has worked here.
Thx!

You buy them either instantly with money, or wait till city gets enough culture to acquire, on its own, the tile surrounded in color.
