Early tech video I'd suppose (But compared to leaked demo videos and the like this one is official.) but of course the game might very well have some rough edges, that sound is quite odd as well and seems very out of place, animations are a bit stiff also though improved from the first game.
(First game had it's flaws of course so there will of course be a lot of doubt about the game but so far it seems promising though it can't be confirmed until the game is available of course.)

Early October now, September was the previously listed release date but I'm unsure if it was official.
EDIT: Seems it might be later still based on those news.

Some tidbits from polish site, based on two hours play (not release version):
- lousy animations and facial expressions
- hilarious character animation during dialogs
- very, very poorly written dialogues, nowhere near acceptable and immersive levels
Supposedely they're still working on dialogues (lol, it's couple weeks to release?). Anyway, it starts to look bleak for us, crpg fans. Seems that only New Vegas will deliver quality fun.

If thats true then im glad they are postponing the release and keep on polishing the game.

Bah, i can take a few lousy animations, it's not like FO3/FO:NV has good animations either, so you might as well skip that game too if you care about that..
Poorly written dialogues is a bigger deal maybe, but not so much, it's mainly a exploring game, like the first one, and like Bethesda's games. I've never thought this would be a new Planescape or anything.. I'm pretty sure this game will deliver.
The dialogues in TW are supposed to be cheesy too - like the bitch slap in the trailer that was posted here earlier hehe. If anyone has seen their "live" promotion videos you can tell they love cheesiness
Compared to what has been said about Gothic4 (the alpha review) this is hardly worth mentioning.. if that's all the negatives they had, then it's very very good news
The magic system for this game seems to be the best in a game so far. Also, 5 reasons why it wont suck: http://www.ripten.com/2010/09/14/five-reasons-why-two-worlds-ii-wont-suck-getsome/

The magic system does sound quite good. I also liked the fact that there will be a MP coop campaign.
Does anyone know if a toolkit will be released?

Thanks for sharing those. I'm going to agree with vurt. If these are the primary failings of the game, it might be a lot of fun and still be a big improvement over the first. I liked 2W1 for what it was. Seems like Gothic4 may be the worse of the two. Yeah I'm also curious about F:Vegas!

Sounds about right. The first game was rather mediocre so I don't have high hopes for this one. Im surprised it sold enough to warrant a sequel.
Nehrim is really scratching my RPG itch right now, loving it so far, about 5 or 6 hours in.

If those ones are the major flaws of the game, then TW2 will be very good indeed

Yup the world was huge with much more variety than f. ex. Oblivion had. Many other aspects weren't as well done tho, which is why I have such high hopes for this sequel (hoping they improved on those poorer aspects).

The southern part though was practically void of content aside from a few minor quests and the end-game content, lots of interesting enemies and locations however from the lava region orc garrison to the asiatic village and desert and the dead town like thing itself.
Nothern part was a bit unused as well but nice to explore, some hidden stuff and quests but a lot to go trough to reach those areas, also one of the few places were enemies respawned.
Exploring the islands was also nice but very risky, especially the treasure filled golem island, as of 1.5 / 1.6 a few hits killed and there's a lot of golems to go trough to reach the reward.
Can't say the gameworld wasn't varied and diverse though, desert, snow, forest, cursed lands, exotic and other themes.
(Cities were a bit similar from one another though but were nice to explore as well due to their size.)
Quests like finding the commanders dirty underwear and fetch type missions dragged things down a bit but there were several hundred all in all.
(Guild specific missions being some of the more interesting and diverse depending on who you aid and the like, only a few other missions allowed that sort of variety though it was fully possible to block a variety of quests or conflict with a lot of other content that way if done carelessly.)
