So I haz a tiny problem. I have one 500GB disk which is divided in 2 partitions. One is 30GB and there is my OS, and the rest is for junk. And I know, what was I thinking, only 30 GB for Win7? Well it seemed a good idea at that time... Ok I wasn't thinking, whatever...
So I need to add new space to C: because I'm running extremely low on disk space. I have shrinked E: (the remaining ~470GB) to new 10 GB of clean fresh space, and now it won't let me extend C: Sad

I've tried googling stuff but nothing smart came up... Halp!

if i remember anything from my half an MSCE; you're fucked. but i could be wrong, there's probably a cool tool that does this. i think you need to make it a dynamic volume in that tab if you want to resize it, but i dunno.

you can do it with partition magic or other such software (i don't know if partition magic works on modern windowses), but it will take hours to move all the data
you only have to empty the second partition in simple apps like windows' own

I had the same problem; solved it with acronis disk director by re-sizing the partition to occupy the free space and then re-sizing it again to clear some free space next to the OS partition.
