Working fine for me, I just tested it myself. I got a black loading screen after signing into GFWL in the game, but it works after it's done loading.

Are you sure you're using razor's 1.0.3.0/1.0.4.0 cracked launcher ?
I don't have the game installed, or I'd show you the file hash for comparison. Because there were other older cracked launchers, too.

Are you using any mods? Mods won't work with 1.0.6.0

I have that asi loader, removed it and GTA loaded up. I can see that I can pick from GTA 4 or liberty city DLC. When I try to go in MP it says I need to be logged in Rockstar Social Club to play it...wasn't it removed from patch?

same thing happened to me, but if i launch rockstar social club application before gta4, i can play mp, so i guess the old razor crack won't work for mp, but only for sp, we need a new crack.

How to enable crossfire in gta4? The game only recognizes 1 gpu with the 5970. Do I have to add the command.txt in the game folder and add the videomem string?

Technically Crossfire and probably SLI as well are not really supported due to the demanding nature of the game on CPU and similar thus affecting scaling (Or some explanation like that.) so you'll see very little offloading to a second GPU and none at all if you use multi-Crossfire or SLI. (From what I've read.)
As of the patch GPU usage is lowered further as well so a 5870 is probably more than enough if you have a decent higher-end GPU (Quad or similar and a bit overlocked for lower end models.)
The 10.4 preview drivers (Hardware section) do however add a profile for EFLC.exe but I think it's the same situation as above with GTA4.exe
(Crossfire relying on CPU a lot so scaling is a bit affected in CPU heavy titles or if using a lower-end CPU or low clocked model.)

I do remember adding the command.txt and adding 1.5 to the videomem string and the difference was huge indeed, i dont know why ppl say that enabling SLI is actually worse than not doing it. I had 1792mb as it was supposed and ran flawlessly. I´ll give it a try with the txt file.

Yeah, i had 1.5 for the 295gtx and 2.1 for the 5970 (2090mb or something in-game). Just tried it a bit and i get 50-60fps, but it stutters badly when turning the camera. Guess ôll wait check the episodes to see if there´s any performance increase :/
It really pisses me off though, it´s clearly an optimization issue, i cant believe fps drop down to 20 sometimes when using the camera with a i7 @ 4ghz.

If that's the hardware you are using then yeah that's a optimization problem.
(v.high shadows with v.high night shadows and high view distance is supposedly the main problems, new shadows look better than the old ones even on medium and high apparently so it might be something to test if it's GPU related, view distance would be somewhat about GPU but probably mostly CPU for further pedestrian and vehicle distance thus calculations.)

hi i also got the gtx 295 but my gta 4 detect only 880 M .Bhow can you have more MB to gtx 295?

You have to make a file called "commandline.txt" and add "-availablevidmem 1.5" inside, that´s pretty much it.
