For what is worth, i'm using the skidrow release on a win7 x64 OS without any problem.
Regarding the game, it's definitely a must buy, and i already ordered mine. Games are supposed to be 1st and foremost fun and this one is. Please buy it, if you don't want the 3rd with some atrocious drm or 6 month delay, or even worse, not have it at all.

Is there a fix for the mouse lag? where it takes like a ms before it registers your movement. Thought it might be my settings, but I put everything on low and it is still there, quite annoying.
Sig too big. -Nothing is too big for Fedor. Expect a nasty armbar.

Runing game from instal dir: no start
Move folder to desktop: instant start

Hell yeah! Payday in Sweden in 3 hours, then it's pre-order time @ Steam. And as a Swede there's 2 reasons to buy the game.

Black Gold mission is pretty epic. Blowing up an oilrig with a fighter jet = win.

The game doesnt work for me - unlike msot people with problems, I can launch the game just fine, run every setting in the main menu, benchmarks work fine, but when I start a new game, the image freezes with the loading screen while I hear the audio of the opening cutscene and eventually the game, run behind the frozen loading screen.
Eventually I have to close the process with the task maanger.
Anyone else have that issue?

I did get it working though. I think that the cracked files packaged with the ISO were messed up or something because I was able to download the cracked content separately and copy it all over what I got off the ISO and the game started right up. |
So you downloaded the "crack only" wich is the exact same you can find on iso, copied it over the skidrow crack from the iso -> wich is the same as the crack only you downloaded then it worked? |
Yes, exactly. That did it for me. Also you do definitely want to make sure you run it as Administrator so that you can save games, otherwise it likely will give you an error when you try to save.
Sounds crazy don't know why it worked but it did. I was also having the same issue as previously described where it would generate those strange files in the game folder after trying to start. But once I copied over the same cracked content it worked.

A 100% clean post of the skidrow crack comes from Doc Snyder&Leroy in a.b.games. 15,96MB
Ed: oh ok i see you mean the whole release. Thats indeed lame. But maybe this helps:
MD5 of steambackup.EXE (rld) is 359ea9f7a411c8dc152b3acdc95df74a
The ISO is 4.298.455.040 bytes

Meh, i got a new PC, but i can not quite run it 100% smooth. in cities it slows down a bit when looking around.
Here is my specs:
Gigabyte X58A motherboard
Intel Core i7-930 4x2.80GHz
ATI HD5870 1GB GDDR5
Kingston 6GB DDR3-1333 TriChannel RAM
Not so much into hardware anymore. Is the GFX card good enough? First time ATI user

The cities seem to be the most demanding ones. I haven't been to any ingame yet, but the city benchmark gave the lowest average fps out of the three. I have the same GPU and it averaged at about 35-38 with everything at the highest at 1080p 4xAA.

runs smooth for me 1920 x 1080 rig as per sig, i did turn off the gpu accelerated water though as i found it ate up a few frames i would rather have.
That's turned off automatically for ATI cats anyway so should both be on same settings except maybe resolution.
Rig as per sig.
So yeh there is something wrong with your performance.

With a rig that nice, it's probably just shitty drivers not optimized yet.

lol thats cool. Is that music ingame? If so, very awesome.
I also just encountered a zeppelin like thing in the sky. Had to check it out. Turned out to be the "High Mile Club" playing loud music with strippers. So much to explorer in this game

How gay is it that when you die you spawn all the way back at that god damn house, I have to fly all the way back to the mile high club...3 times now, theres gotta be an easier way to get under said mile high club, I failed twice trying to grapple and once with a chopper

Doesn't the mile high club have an extraction point available for it?
