The mouse worked great once I copied over the two txt files ( pitoni and jabberwocky ) from the crack folder to the game's main folder. I have no idea why those two poems make work. |
I must of freakin jinxed myself. Started the game up again and now the walk forward (W) key and (RMB) mouse also set to walk, don't work any more. crap!
nm* Deleted the "input" folder in my documents BFBC2 folder, rebinded the keys and let it write a new folder.

The feel of the mouse in this garbage, smooth in some place then really laggy in others, even though the game is running smoothly.

Is there any way to change the aspect ratio? It feels so claustrophobic right now :/

They said you can change the FOV, so that will probably be in a 0-day patch.

Apparently you will be able to change your vertical FOV. Horizontal part will be calculated based on your vertical value and aspect ratio.

I am not sure what's the big deal with the FOV though, seemed perfectly fine to me. Although having a 16:9 monitor gives me a wider FOV, I don't think it matters that much.
I remember the days of RTCW, running around with alien vision. Switching back to default made you feel like you were slowly crawling through a pipe. Now I don't care much for those things.

play it for a couple of minutes, and damn, this game really surprised me, it's not as polished as modern warfare 2, but it's close enough, plus it feels much more real than modern warfare 2, also the sound effects of the weapons are impressive!!
for what I've seen so far this game is outstanding!!

I really hate the grenade shower in this game. AI is throwing them like crazy.

Sadly I don't have a 16:9 monitor at the moment, my wife commandeered it for her painting.. heh. Back on my crappy old 19" 5:4 one :/

16:10 1920x1200 here and the FOV is annoyingly narrow. Nice game nevertheless, with great visuals and, as mentioned earlier, outstanding sound. =)

Using Eyefinity or Nvidia's analog apparently gives you a very good wide FOV, since it's basically a very wide screen.
When they start making thin bezel screens and more games will support this properly, like BC2, this could very well be the definitive way to play in the future. Add 3D to that and you have yourself a one heck of an experience...

FOV looks kind of awkward on my square monitor. Most games look fine but this game does not. Graphics still look fantastic though
