The graphics to me looked ok ,the gameplay was terrible , hit mouse 3 whenever the aliens 20 feet away to perform some sort of push so the alien will stand still for a sec or two while you shoot it lol , 4 dead marines along the path yet none had any ammo or weapons except for a clip or 2 of pistol ammo. Had to turn mouse sensitivity up to 100% to get anywhere near normal manouverability , brightness to the max otherwise im in a black hole ( yeah it could be my monitor but this is the only game i need to do this on ?? ). Im sure like most other games ill try them again but tbh my first impression has been the worst of any game ive played just moving around feels sluggish and thats a bad sign.
Today it is my turn to be AN knobhead

Works fine here, with regular EXE. I have my speakers set to 24-bit, 48000 Hz.

And i have my CRT adjusted to a very dark blacklevel. If you made adjustments to your brightness in windows you could try playing in window mode to see if that changes anything. I can only speak about the demo scene though!

Wonder if the DX11 EXE crash is not game related. I remember similar such issues people had with the demo. How dumb can you be to somehow tie your code to the system in such way is beyond me.

Working fine for me too, exept a few things:
In the predator intro mission in the jungle, the sound is delayed.. very strange, returns to normal when i take control tho.
Sometimes the game decides to lag ALOT, like it goes do 2-5 fps. The way i fix this is to just ALT+ENTER into the game, and its gone - bad crack perhaps?
Note i am running DX9, because DX11 gives me all sorts of bugs, lag, sound delay etc.

Well at least they fixed the sound problem in the demo. Why the heck doesn't it work in the final version?

I beat the alien and predator campaigns using the dx11 exe on win7 64bit and had no issues whatsoever. Some minor freezings here and there but they used to occur very rarely and didn't affect my gameplay experience at all.
But in the end i left the marine campaign for desert. But when i use my flashlight, game crashes. Anyone got past that issue?

Game has had a profile for quite a few "Catalyst" revisions now, still 10.2 in two hours or so should contain a few other tweaks I imagine.
(And hopefully make the DX10/DX11 hybrid EXE less unstable, haha, that said the normal one works perfectly though I had to lower sound acceleration down, odd issue that but hopefully it'll be fixed in the first update, perhaps tomorrow? or around the EU release date?)

Indeed. No hardware audio acceleration in Vista and beyond.
