morrigan is really kickass once you put points into sleep and nightmare no more hordes of enemy attacking you, they either all sleep or attack each other while im picking them apart with my warrior and leliana while the old mage chick heals us

Like.. a dog..? Why would I want a dog in my group when I'm fighting for survival of man kind against dragons and shit. It's not that I don't like dogs but I'd never want a freakin dog in a group of adventurers as party member.

I don't mind the dog in itself, but I never use it just because I might miss on some of the inter-party dialog or companion comments on my decisions and such.

Would've been a nice addition as a 'free' companion that doesn't take up a slot from the party, but in its current state I doubt I'll ever use him... Pity really.

I used the dog all the way through on my first playthrough (which was on easy so it might not apply for higher difficulties) and I found it fairly useful. You mostly don't need to worry about items, and I just pumped strength pretty much and nothing else. It has an aoe stun, and this overwhelm ability later on which could completely disable and kill most light-medium armored yellow mobs by the time it's over or shortly after. I usually sent that after mages or archers or something so they are disabled, followed by paralyze while my party took care of the rest. Also it had a charge ability that knocks down stuff. So yeah I liked the dog. Wasn't much of a tank tho, if it got focused it died in seconds.

Oh yeah and if you talk to it it can clean blood off your armor. Very Happy

I finally died for the first time (granted, haven't been playing long). Went outside that first village (Lothering?) and there were two large groups of bandits. I had the two chicks, Alistair, and my mage. I got the first group ok but since the second group was within range of the first group, they came in and cleaned me up. I think I was a bit outnumbered for two level 7's and two level 6's.

I should mention that i got my redeem code from OnlineKeyStore.com after like 10 hours.

So maybe they are ok after all, don't know. First it seems like they didn't have any codes then after some pressure some some people, the codes came...

Another thing that strikes me as extremely weird is that you have to allocate precious skill points to get more tactics slots. Why in gods name do I need to spend skill points to reduce micro management? That's just so lame.
Would be no different to be required to spend skill points to get hotbar slots. lol
What were they thinking?

That's not really exotic. I mean, it's in the description for stonefist that it can shatter. And it must only be a *chance* to shatter. I've yet to actually shatter anyone using the combo (cone of cold and stone fist).

That "exotic" was a bad choice of words. I was simply refering to the ones that would make a journal entry. Rolling Eyes

There is a guy on one Russian forum who found a way to remove protection from DLC's. So far he apparently tried it with Promo 1 and got the ring and some sort of a book in the inventory. I'm hoping he will publish his program soon.

I never use tactics so I had to reload older save to undo skill points that I put into it.

All of a sudden Warden's keep is gone form my map and my log tells me to find the guy in my camp, but the NPC doesnt even exist since I sent him to the castle already. Also It's still enabled and authenticated in the DLC menu, and It's a legit DLC purchase.

Btw, reinstalled the game-achievements are there...>Though, i don't think i'll have classes unlocked Neutral
All screens and dlc gone, though i checked not to delete them..Oh, well...Reinstalled dlc as well...
Upd. Specializations are still unlocked O_o
It was written here that if you delete profile.dap(and it was deleted), they'll lock.
They were wrong, i guess it's stored on Bioware's server side and was downloaded back to me.
That's why DLC's are hard to crack.

Well apparently he worked with The Stone Prisoner and its done. I'm downloading now to see but it will take couple hours because its uploaded to a slow .com.ua hosting.

I'm still hoping he will upload his tool somewhere so everyone can do it themselves.

Ok so it seems that his tool is still in "testing". He just wrote in and tested with Promo 1. For now he has to recompile it each time for each different module because code it different for each DLC. Plus he uses toolset to convert the file to ERF V2.0 manually.

PS: For those interested the original topic is on the forum.ru-board.com (its Russian).

Long story short:

This guys found codes for each DLC. There is an explanation how but too long to explain.
But problem is it seems that the Toolset does not have the ability to decode encrypted files. Bioware probably intentionally removed it.
So he wrote a tool that takes an ERF file and removes encryption from it. Then he manually feeds the file to the toolset and converts the file to ERF V2.0 instead of V2.2.

We'll see if it actually works.

PS: I hate .com.ua hosting. My speed stays at 20-25 KB/sec and that it. Horrible.
