I finally died for the first time (granted, haven't been playing long). Went outside that first village (Lothering?) and there were two large groups of bandits. I had the two chicks, Alistair, and my mage. I got the first group ok but since the second group was within range of the first group, they came in and cleaned me up. I think I was a bit outnumbered for two level 7's and two level 6's.

I should mention that i got my redeem code from OnlineKeyStore.com after like 10 hours.
So maybe they are ok after all, don't know. First it seems like they didn't have any codes then after some pressure some some people, the codes came...

Another thing that strikes me as extremely weird is that you have to allocate precious skill points to get more tactics slots. Why in gods name do I need to spend skill points to reduce micro management? That's just so lame.
Would be no different to be required to spend skill points to get hotbar slots. lol
What were they thinking?

You can script whole team behaviour instead of pause each few seconds.

Anyone found some exotic spell combos?
I just discovered shattering, it was pretty straight forward.
Spoiler: | Pertify or freeze and then break them apart with stonefist. |

Spell combos-
Spoiler: | Spell Combos
Earthquake + Grease + Fireball + Walking Bomb should stymie most groups before they can do too much harm to your party.
A fire spell on Grease works great at lower levels or when you don’t have all kinds of time.
Glyph of Paralysis + Glyph of Repulsion causes an explosive effect that paralyzes those nearby.
Blizzard + Inferno + Tempest becomes Storm of the Century (spectacular electrical storm).
Cast Blizzard on a burning Grease slick to extinguish it.
Send a tank to draw all kinds of threat from a mob away from the party. Cast Force Field on the tank for immunity from all damage and then follow with Inferno to engulf the entire area. The enemies burn while fighting a tank that can’t die.
Drain Life and Mana Drain are twice as effective on a target with a Vulnerability Hex.
Cast Spell Might on yourself and then cast Animate Dead on a skeleton. This skeleton is much more powerful than the ordinary skeletons you can animate.
Cast Sleep on a target and then cast Horror on it. This inflicts massive spirit damage on the target, often killing many lesser foes outright. Those who survive emerge in a state of fear.
Immobilize a target with Cone of Cold or Petrify. When the target is in that vulnerable state, a critical hit from any weapon, a hit from the Stonefist spell, or the effects of the Crushing Prison spell will shatter it. (Bosses and lieutenants are highly resistant to this.)
Cast a Death Hex on a target and then cast a Death Cloud in its area. If the target is touched by the Death Cloud, it sustains massive spirit damage.

That's not really exotic. I mean, it's in the description for stonefist that it can shatter. And it must only be a *chance* to shatter. I've yet to actually shatter anyone using the combo (cone of cold and stone fist).

@Amer_MerzZz: thanks mate.

There is a guy on one Russian forum who found a way to remove protection from DLC's. So far he apparently tried it with Promo 1 and got the ring and some sort of a book in the inventory. I'm hoping he will publish his program soon.

I never use tactics so I had to reload older save to undo skill points that I put into it.

All of a sudden Warden's keep is gone form my map and my log tells me to find the guy in my camp, but the NPC doesnt even exist since I sent him to the castle already. Also It's still enabled and authenticated in the DLC menu, and It's a legit DLC purchase.

Question regarding character Vynne (or Wynne?)
Spoiler: | So I talked to her at the castle and then fought in the tower till the king and Duncan died.
Now I am in the small village (Forgot the name...)
Where is Wynne? Is the gone forever?
I know that she could join my party, but she didn't?
What now? |

Well apparently he worked with The Stone Prisoner and its done. I'm downloading now to see but it will take couple hours because its uploaded to a slow .com.ua hosting.
I'm still hoping he will upload his tool somewhere so everyone can do it themselves.

Ok so it seems that his tool is still in "testing". He just wrote in and tested with Promo 1. For now he has to recompile it each time for each different module because code it different for each DLC. Plus he uses toolset to convert the file to ERF V2.0 manually.
PS: For those interested the original topic is on the forum.ru-board.com (its Russian).

Stone Prisoner seems to be working. Accepted the quest and this time Honnleath got marked on the map...
All erfs seem to be correctly decrypted.
You can get the link on rb.

Long story short:
This guys found codes for each DLC. There is an explanation how but too long to explain.
But problem is it seems that the Toolset does not have the ability to decode encrypted files. Bioware probably intentionally removed it.
So he wrote a tool that takes an ERF file and removes encryption from it. Then he manually feeds the file to the toolset and converts the file to ERF V2.0 instead of V2.2.
We'll see if it actually works.
PS: I hate .com.ua hosting. My speed stays at 20-25 KB/sec and that it. Horrible.
