I love the bilebombs. It sucks when idiots throw them randomly though, not understanding that they spawn hordes of zombies.

Well...after i tried the demo myself i must say i was bitch'n for nothing before..the game actually feels like a PART 2 or expansion...way better and more fun then first one...male weapons are pure fun....there are bunch of new weapons also...new infected mobs are cool...will be a blast in survival match...overall its a worth buy for sure..just find the best and cheapest deal for it.
btw
the new gore effects are awesome...you can blast holes in zombies and see their guts drop all over

Nothing overpowered about melee weapons. First, they're useless against SI. Second, good luck going rambo with them on Expert.

Damn why they fucked up the weapon FOV, Uzi looks fucking retarded, like holding a bazooka. Looked great on L4D.

The FOV is exactly the same. It's just the viewmodels of some guns that are closer to your face. This should be easily fixed if they must fix it.
It's probably a change they did the last few days/weeks before the demo was released because no one spotted it before. So, they might change it again (that is for the PC, I'm sure that the Xbox 360 version was finished and sent to EA a week or so ago..)

I like it that way personally.
Quote: | Just tried this, feels like this has toned down because of consoles, feels that there is less zombies on screen at time |
Not true, try it on a higher difficulty and play some more. I saw floods of enemies - I didn't have time to reload between them and that was just the zombies I was dealing with - not those the rest of the group were.
Was great when I crouched in the corner and laid waste to them and found myself watching them stream through the entrance by looking through the open wound of a zombies stomach
...that said I found the demo rather worthless. Not enough and not representative of how it will play as a whole. Same as the original demo in that respect.

Yeah, since the Xbox 360 could handle the amount of enemies of the first game there is no reason to make them less for L4D2.
Source supported more than 1200 zombies on screen for L4D1: http://www.left4dead411.com/news/2008/11/how-many-zombies/

I find this much more fun on expert than the first game was. It's not so hard you can't manage, but it sure does offer a challenge.

It doesn't feel even like an expansion pack but rather like a custom user's mod....

Anyone else feel "syrup'y" when playing the demo??
I played L4D quite alot, but the first instant i started playing this demo it felt like my mouse was in a bucket of syrup.. I dont know, just sluggish and wierd..
Seriously, what did they do? Fucked up the mouse movements somehow..
Its like, slow as hell when aiming normally, then the acceleration is so overdone that you can turn 300 degrees just by flickin the mouse a little to the side. Like wtf.. Give me back my old normal FPS "aiming".
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 RAM: 4gb Kingmax DDR2 800mhz Video: Asus GeForce 250GTS 1gb Sound: Asus Xonar.

The settings from L4D don't carry over - check your mouse settings. Sensitivity is too low. It could also be framerates. I had to turn off anti-aliasing on my end. I had everything on highest for L4D1, but no anti-aliasing on L4D2 to avoid noticeable sluggishness during panic events. I'm not sure if either of those settings fixed the syrupy feel actually (because the sensitivity being ramped up might just mask it - and the frame-rates might be a red-herring) - but check it out.

Nope, mouse aim feels exactly the same as in L4D1 for me. I even used the same exact sensitivity value.

Mouse movement feels exactly the same as L4D1 for me too.
It must be something else that causes you these issues, like the frames to render ahead or how it's called setting on the nvidia control panel, try lowering it and it might fix your problem.
And then like you peoples were all like, "YOU IS TROLLIN!" and I was like "I AM NOT TROLLING!! I AM guess_who_kthxbai YOU SEE! Mm!"

Maybe it's vsync that's causing issues for him, I tried enabling vsync and mouse aim felt like complete crap.

Ah, could be, I'm playing with vsync off (almost) always.
It has double and triple buffering options it's worth trying them.

Hmm..
I'll try turning off vsync. Thing is, i dont have L4D installed anymore so i dont remember if i had vsync turned on or off lol! (havent been in the options menu since launch anyway).
