Things aren't mutually exclusive. If it has disk check I will buy it too, but I enjoyed it a week before release (and probably much longer in the case of Israeli stores).

online version will most likely have securom (because the leaked version had paul.dll)
disk version will most likely have securom + disk check
as for the crack, if it requires some people to start the game from the start, that's not exactly what i'd call a proper crack.. i am sure a scene release will come with a crack which will be a reworked (possibly better) variant of what is already out there

And scene crack won't require a restart? That's flawed logic.
It requires restart because the triggers affect save games.

As long as it doesn't have damn install limit (dvd version) I'm gonna buy it for sure. The game rocks and really deserves being bought by anyone who enjoys action/stealth genre. :>

I got to the botanical garden bug, restarted with the new crack and finished the game in a little over 7 hours, with 196 riddles solved. 75% game completion, and i havent played any challenges. Gotta say best game of the year, hands down.

Yeah, I guess. That also explains why D2D had early access to an unfinished game: it wasn't unfinished! Eidos planned to release it in this state, anyway, and patch it with PhysX later (perhaps on day 1?)
And then like you peoples were all like, "YOU IS TROLLIN!" and I was like "I AM NOT TROLLING!! I AM guess_who_kthxbai YOU SEE! Mm!"

Just remembered something: in CD-Action review the guy playing the game wrote that PhysX was pretty impressive albeit it lowers your FPS a little... So review-only copies had PhysX... Maybe Batman has some kind of online activation?
I don't know, this seem really weird...

ah your like me every nook and cranny explored ..
best way to enjoy a game, instead of logging into nforce and seeing threads within 2hrs of ...
"I beated it in 1hr 50mins" it was gud..
lulz
anyhow im still playing fallout 3 still on main story line, value for piracy i say... teehee..

i agree 7 hours for 70% isway too fast your first time, but 8 hours for 20%? Unless you spent several hours on challenges no way. It's maybe a 15-20 hour game at a normal pace.
