There is a law here that says people over the age of 20 don't have demand on GK, thats after what you call highschool. But still there are people over 30-40 there, but thats only of there are space for them. They may have to travel long. But even im finished with GK, and im only 17

Yeah most people finish it at about 17-18.

Wait wait
Im not following this.

How does it work in the UK? the education levels or whatever u call it

in North America (i think its the same in the US, generally, in terms of grades and shit) its like this

Elemtary School (Primary School) - can either be junior kindergarden to grade 8 or jk-grade 5
Middle School - grades 5 - 8 (usually public schools, catholic schools have the jk-grade 8 deal)
Highschool - grades 9 - 12 (back in my day we had a grade 13 called OAC)
Then college or University.

Well Here we call Highschool "College"

And it goes like this (with rough ages)

Primary School
J1 (Age 5)
J2 (Age 6)
standard one (Age 7)
standard two (Age Cool
standard three (Age 9)
standard four (Age 10)

Intermediate (Althou alot of primary schools just cover this aswell)
form 1 (Age 11)
form 2 (Age 12)

College
form 3 (Age 13)
form 4 (Age 14)
form 5 (Age 15)
form 6 (Age 16)
form 7 (Optional) (Age 17)

So most people finish school when they are 17/18

Then u can go onto a billion other things

(University... Polytech... etc etc etc etc etc)

Currently an assistant psychologist at a mental health hospital. It's a job share so I only have to work 17 1/2 hours a week. I also do general healthcare work on different departments to fill my time.

I'm seriously considering going back to Uni to train as a qualified mental health nurse instead of the further training needed to become a chartered clinical psychologist. It's less stressful, more sociable, and would give me a free rein on working anywhere in the world. Less money though.

Wicked.

But how do u take it when a cute little puppy dies on you?
Thats why i could never be a vet. Making the animals better and stuff is cool, but seeing abused animals and animals going through agony is just way to tough for me.

You'd be amazed what kind of 'almost-dead' dogs are sometimes brought to the clinic, weighing less than half of what they should weigh...It's really bad sometimes. And the owners response is most of the time this one: "He (or she) is like this since yesterday". Ive seen a few dogs die right in front of me while I was resuscitating them. Once I brought one back to life, that was awesome-o! It's only sad when youve taken care of that dog for a week and then it dies...you already have a small bond with them then. But don't get to excited...being a vet means doing vaccinations 70% of your time Wink

I know, but it would break my heart man...I remember when my dog died when I was kid, this little cute silky terrior, scruffy looking but cool and chillin. Broke my heart cuz they know when they are dying and they try to tell you and all that.

Just for dealing with the death of the animals, thats liike an extra oh, 20 grand, for me anyway
