|
 |
What differences are between a Pentium D at 3Ghz and a Core2Duo at 2,4Ghz?...are they instantly like noticeable?...should i upgrade? (got a 975XBX Intel MoBo)..
About the GPU question,how many "C" (Temperature) 's does each one of the new nVidia 8800GTX/S/GT series does make?..actually my nVidia EN7900GT with a modded ZALMAN is around 44-49C...i guess a huge ass 8800 will do a lot more <<;;;
about the GPU,i'm not thinkin' of changin' until our 7900 like ones dies ^^;

The Core and Core 2 CPU lines are completely different from architectural point than the crappy Pentium CPU lines, so yeah, you will see a huge difference. I'm not sure if that mobo supports C2D.
My 8800GTX is ~55C idle and ~60-70 under load.

CPU comparison
You should choose the benchmark that is relevant to your situation.
