Nimona - ~6/10
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt19500164/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_3_nm_5_q_nimona

Watched it after some positive review. Unfortunately the script is very bare and feels patched up with memes, references and undercooked. At least it has some style to it when you squint your eyes and not think about the fact that this stylization covers budget restrains. Overall ok but nothing mindblowing.

The Blackening - 5/10
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11703244/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_q_The%2520Blackening

Chuckled a bit but sometimes to hermetic for a cracker like me.

Terminator 1: this has held up surprisingly well, enjoyed watching it 7/10

Terminator 2 this was a harder watch, so bloated in comparison to the original. yes it's probably a better movie, but i enjoyed watching the first one more because it has better pacing. weak 7/10

The soundtrack for these is absolute low effort garbage. yes the main theme is decent enough. The orchestral hit-sound abuse in the first movie, fuuuuck, its so bad. there are b-movies on Red Letter Media with equal or better music.

Asteroid City - 5/10
I usually love Wes Andersons movies, this one had the usual great performance and awsome settings - but it just did not manage to reach its goal imo. I never really understod what the point of it was Sad

Guardians Of The Galaxy 3 - 7/10
Not as good as the first one, but in class with the second one. This one might not have been Oscars material when it comes to script, but it had (imo) a deep and good message as it was pretty much an anti-animal testing message. We cannot get enough of these messages to the people imo.

Busty Babes #3 - 3/10
Atleast 2 of them tits were saggy. The scrip could have been better and also and the dialogs where mediocre. I expected more - then again, i only saw the first 2 minutes before it was time to pull up my pants again.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 - 5/10

What.. how? It's like James Gunn just went "meh, I can't be bothered". Did I get a screening copy or something? The live action was horrible, the editing amateurish, the sound was raw and it felt really bad watching those scenes. The CGI scenes were great but the movie as a whole felt meh/bleh. A pity since the story itself had great potential.

Asteroid City - 5/10

expected this to be the peak - the final Wes Anderson movie before it gets cringy and starts to feel repetitive but looks like this had already happened. He has out-Wes-Andersoned himself with this one and is on track to becoming a full blown parody of Wes Anderson. High time to change style and try something new.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3 - 8/10

mostly agree with Ankh here. Found it to be a really enjoyable and emotive, high quality movie. Like the good old times of earlier Marvel phases. The last hooray before the MCU hopefully and deservedly dies a slow and painful death.

Asteroid City - You ̶c̶a̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶w̶a̶k̶e̶ ̶u̶p̶ ̶i̶f̶ ̶y̶o̶u̶ ̶d̶o̶n̶'̶t fall asleep/10

Yo dawg, I heard you like vapid artsy-fartsy movies so we put a play in your play and a dozen of celebrities uttering random sentences so you can pretend to look for a transversal profound message while you pretend to feel smart about it. Wes went full Wes, you never go full Wes :'(

Dances with Wolves - 8/10

One of my favourite movies growing up, I was incredibly fascinated by it as a kid and used to quote it often (notably the Tatanka scene, the Good Trade one and so forth Laughing). Fortunately, and unlike many other beloved movies that I regretted re-watching as an adult, it hasn't lost its charm thanks to the right mix of proper character development, environmental storytelling and the rather memorable soundtrack. There is some light cheese here and there, but it's a timeless story in my book and I'll always enjoy the way it's presented.

QuANTuMANia - 6.5/10

I was awed by the amount of effort the CGI department put into those creatures, landscapes and infinite particles. Sad that it was pointless. Kang was the redeeming factor.

The Flash 6.5/10

Going in with zero expectations, it's was actually quite good. Tonally it's all over the place, and CGI is terrible at times, but after a little while I got into it and could suspend the disbelief.
And revisiting scenes from Man of Steel again feels very uninspiring.

But the acting is surprisingly good, and Esra Miller did pretty well, even though he plays a very annoying character.

Nic Cage looked cool too, I'd watch that version of Superman!

Guardians o/t Galaxy 6.5/10

Didn't really do much for me, but it's still one of the better of the Marvels. I kinda liked The Flash more.

A welcome surprise for a Netflix movie. Got some Jordan Peele / Tarantino / Stranger Things vibe but with colored people.

Good performance By Boyega and Jamie Foxx. Nice variety in the soundtrack and fits well in the movie.

2001: A space odyssey: 8/10. Would've been .5 higher if it was a bit less trippy and cut off the kinda useless start. Looked amazing though, hard to believe this movie is 55! years old.
3:10 to yuma (2007): 7.5/10. Writing wasn't too good at times, but still an enjoyable movie. Russell was great in this Very Happy
The Conversation: 7.5/10. A slow but good movie. Gene did a good job again Smile
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3: 7/10. Better than expected.
Network: 8/10. Great writing, those (initial) rants
Now You See Me: 7/10. Nothing too special, but still fun to watch.
Alien: 8/10.

Barbie retarded 5/10
Definitely not a movie for kids but you can take them if you want to explain to your kids what vagina, penis, beating off and patriarchy is.
The movie and Greta think that they are trying to tell a smart story about male stereotypes and female expectations (by women and for women).
Kens are representation of incels that want to be alpha males and secretly hate females because they are friendzoned (literaly jacked up dudes on horses and Ken being told he is only a friend).
Barbies are perfect women representations that can't be realized in real world because men won't allowed it and thus girls grew up to be miserable.

All of this is hammered into the viewer in not so subtle way, interwoven by goofy LSD induced pink madness. In the end you are left with a message that women should toned down their expectations but not to the point of being bimbos like men want them to be. Men should be betas and fuck off.
It's badly written with plot points ending because narrator said so - literaly.

And yes all men are shown as evil, stupid or infantile.
Patriarchy rule the world.
Both genders should evolve beyond how society see them but men should overall fuck off more.

On the plus side - Barbie Land is pretty great set.
Nice sarcastics songs and (I'm biased) musical numbers.

Fastest molester alive 4/10

What a beautiful car crash.
So, not only did they went with the flash's "oh soe quirky" humor, they add an even more retarded 18yo version on top, just lovely.
Then, knowing no one cares about any "new" dc hero, try to add old batman with keaton for the memberberries and dumb shit here and there they thought people would care about (nic cage superman, supergirl instead of superman).
Mix in some uncanny valley nightmare inducing "CGI" and what a wreck this was.

Nigga even tried to molest batman Laughing

The Cursed - 7.8/10
Interesting take on the werewolf myth and well made.

Anything For Jackson - 6.7/10
This is a weird one.

John Wick 4 - 6.5/10
It's too long and feels tired. Not even close to the class of the first two.

Nefarious 7/10: Hidden gem budget movie, no name actors, minimal locations and dialog driven. Really well done for a shoestring budget and a handful of actors, ending a little weak but what else could they have done.

Pandorum. My 3rd or 4th watch over the years. Really, really good sci-fi horror. The only really bad part is the pandorum/madness itself, it's just not entertaining or well made. Dennis Quaid is just boring in this. Luckily it's not too much of it. This is so cheesy and great, at best it feels like a RPG. Awesome and bold ending too i would say. 8.5/10

Beck. Inferno + Deadlock, both were decent if you're up for some really dry police drama, I'd suggest Inferno if you're gonna give one of them a go... weak 7/10

It's like the blueprint for a what an awesome fantasy movie should be. And the music is epic.

There's comedy relief, but it's 80s style. Conan high on drugs punching the camel knockout gets me every time Laughing
