just install it, download the table http://fearlessrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8938 , run the game, run cheatnegine, open the game and the table in cheatengine and activate what you need. You can RMB click on what you've activated and set a shortcut, so that you wouldn't have to alt-tab |
Man, you saved my life. I was about to give up.
I like the idea that you die many times to learn. What I hate is that you have to replay large portions of the game again and again from the campfire - taking minutes - just to get a couple of seconds of extra training against a super hard boss.
I suck compared to a large part of the player base for this game, so tweaking the damage multipliers will help to match the game to my actual skills.

I don't see the point in using cheats to beat a game, why not just play something else if it's not your thing?

Maybe he is interested in exploring the world and the story.
1) Lenovo Legion 7 (AMD Ryzen 7 5800H, RTX 3080 16Gb, 32Gb DDR4, SSD 1TB +2TB
2) SFFPC (streaming via Moonlight+ Sunshine)

Well I think I am dropping the game. I just don't feel it.
Killed Genichiro(Yeah butterfly and all optional guys up to this point and some beyond too), stupid monkeys and now bashing my head against snake eyes in poison pool. So far I've managed to get every enemy legit way, so I do not want to cheese snake eyes in the poison pool. He is not THAT hard but my patience has ran dry, especially knowing what comes afterwards.
-The loot sucks (everything is useless oil and pointless mibu balloons)
-Difficulty spike for some bosses and mini bosses is just stupid. You play the game normally, Enjoy exploring environments and normal combat and then WTF, You have to train this boss moveset to perfectly block him for 7 minutes straight on 2 or 3 phases.
-The story kinda sucks
-The music is forgettable and repeatable besides the main menu theme. I miss the grand and memorable dark souls or bloodborne score.
-Enemy variety sucks
-There is little to 0 build variety and play styles but that is the goal of the game.
They do what they do EXTREMELY WELL but I don't think I like it. I also don't like how suddenly everyone says that Dark souls and bloodborne games were very easy and are not as good. I mean cmon...
DS123 and BB have tons of builds and playstyles. Every weapon has different moveset and special attack(ds3). The world is more open, combat is more open, everything is more open. That's why more people (like me) can finish those games. But You could see they were going there all along. Old hunters DLC and Ringed City DLC both ramped up the difficulty so much leading to Sekiro that it was difficult to finish those DLCs with slower builds.
Again - I think Sekiro is amazing but I just cannot for now. Maybe I will try again in a few days or later

It's 0.1%, a tiny minority, the most vocal ones, as usual.

I think you're supposed to upgrade the Mikiri counter to have a fair chance. I remember him countering all my Mikiri counters and after the upgrade my Mikiri counters suddenly actually countered his attacks.

Haha yeah, after a ludicrous amount of deaths I eventually got there too. In these moments the sense of satisfaction is immense, one is even tempted to think "maybe I'm really getting the hang of it"...until the game immediately slaps you in the face and brings you back to reality

"Gamers" nowadays are just wusses, weaned too heavily on the rotten Ubimilk.
The game is completely fair and just requires focus, moves are cleanly telegraphed and bosses are very well designed. Sekiro and Bloodborne have some of the best boss fight design in gaming, especially when you look at all the gimmicky bullshit bosses of DS2.

Bosses are very well designed? Really? Headless is a well designed boss? What about the ape? Well designed? What about the one-shot Schimenenenen warrior, that turns the game into a bullet hell? Or the laughingly bad folding screen monkeys?
This is good game design? The only saving point of this game is the atmosphere. The story is, god i'm gonna quote leo shoot me pls, japcrap, the graphics look really good at times when it comes to environments but most character models that aren't you look like shit, and bend like someone forgot that bones exist. The faces look like something generated with the Oblivion character generator.
I'm almost done with it, Nioh was better.

Yes, all of those are well designed and I didn't have any trouble whatsoever, beat the ape on first try, all his moves are cleanly telegraphed and easy to evade. The standard way to go about a soulsborne/sekiro boss battle is to keep your distance at first and figure out his moves before going on the offensive.
Nioh had a fun combat system but the level design and atmosphere are atrocious compared to Sekiro. It's a fun but soul(s)less looter.

That's just such a cheap argument lol.
Yeah sure you can find 0.01% that can do this. It doesn't mean squat
Honestly, fuck this repetitive, void of any gameplay diversity, deflect-this-deflect-that shitfest.

No. Can't say the same about Dark souls. . It is anything but dodge dodge, block block. It is the best and most open combat of any game !
You can melee with many weapons of which every has different moveset
You can use a shield or not. There are many shields better or worse for deflecting
You can tank,
You can dex,
You can range,
You can magic
You can use every weapon 2 handed or dual wield (dark souls 2)
You can mix anything however You want. If You want You can not dodge or block once in the whole game.
Dark Souls is among most versatile game as can be. You can do many runs and change playstyle every time. Bloodborne limited things a bit by removing builds variety , shields and armor but still had many weapons with unique movesets and firearms.
Sekiro focuses on Parry. You block, fill the posture bar and attack. You can also attack some to weaken enemy HP and slower their posture recovery. The game is based ONLY only on parry mechanic but thanks to the focus, You can say it does it extremely well but if You don't like parry/deflect extremely fast rythm based combat - there is nothing else in Sekiro.
The world is also more samey and there are no interesting items to find. It's just mibu balloons, stupid oils and some other useless stuff. it all makes exploration less interesting.
I am very far in the game (sekiro 24 hours so far) but I have a hard time to even launch the game. It feels very constrained and I don't really like the combat. It's just not for me.
The game feels like a step back from Bloodborne. That game focuses on "no shield" gameplay very well. You can dodge or parry (if YOu are very good) almost every attack.
edit: I've preordered Sekiro full price and I already feel that the purchase was worth it even though I will probably not be able to finish it(I will beat that ape one day). It's still an amazing game and we don't get good sp games anymore. But at the same time, I am sad that I am not able to fully enjoy new From Software game. We just have better world, items and more versitale combat in previous games. Ah.. the story is bullshit btw
