If their AI is anything like Payday, this game won't be playable without actual people as your squad-mates. A release on this one seems kind of pointless.
I can never be free, because the shackles I wear can't be touched or be seen.

Its a bigger problem then Payday since there is a lot more to it then killing waves of people.

With mods you can make the bots pretty decent in Payday 2 so maybe if they end up allowing modding you might end up seeing some improvements for the AI thanks to the modders.

Whaaaaaaaaaat? How could something like this fail? Quick, cut your losses and start developing some riddick battle royale garbage, stat!

I actually finished all 10 missions, and I can't believe they thought charging $60 for what is essentially a zombie whack-a-mole mixed with a mediocre shooter when you're facing human NPCs, who are incredibly dumb but have aimbot and wallhack, and are absolute bullet sponges at higher difficulties, was a good idea.
This is not a $60 game. Fuck, it's barely a $30 game.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

I think the idea behind it was great though.
Seems like they got 60% through development, rushed to finish it and then released it for twice the price.

at least now we know where Skrillex got his tracknames from
on topic: @EyePatchLives nailed it, the game would be "good" for around 25bucks but only if they kept developing and adding stuff for free. right now its insulting to ask for 60 since they wrecked the TWD license way more than Telltale did (as of now, this may change in teh futurez!)

But the people who made those games are no longer at Starbreeze. In fact they haven't been for many years. | Good luck getting people to get that through their heads

The same content was posted in the link a couple posts above with far more details. A great read.

Now I see the problem. They should have released it on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 first and then not bothered with the PC version at all.
"Overkill’s The Walking Dead released first on PC Steam last year in November. The game had poor sales and mixed reviews at Steam. Starbreeze earlier this month announced that they will not release the game for Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on scheduled date and that new date will be disclosed at later stage. Should we assume the game is delayed indefinitely?"

Why hasn't the TV series met the same fate?

*Soon*
Terminal Reality practically died after the abysmal Survival Instinct, then it was Telltale's turn to get bitten and perish, now things aren't looking good for Starbreeze (well "Starbreeze") either..it's The Walking Dead virus alright.
